Boss Paul Lambert’s final-day-of-the-transfer-window pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's home game against Sheffield Wednesday will be shown live on TWTV from 1pm this afternoon.

It’s not expected to be a busy deadline day at Portman Road with Lambert having signed six players earlier in the transfer window, which closes at 11pm today.

If there is a seventh addition then it’s most likely to be a right-back with Lambert having confirmed that that was an area where he was looking for signings early in the window when we understand former loanee Callum Connolly, who is currently on loan at Wigan from Everton, was among those to come into consideration.

However, latterly Matthew Pennington has moved out to right-back and Lambert appears happy with the loanee in that role, while he has also said Josh Emmanuel won’t be sent out on loan for another spell having returned from Shrewsbury.

Midfielder Shane McLoughlin’s permanent exit to AFC Wimbledon, as revealed by TWTD yesterday, is expected to be confirmed today, while Jonas Knudsen could also move on if the Blues receive late interest in the Danish international, whose contract is up in the summer. One or two members of the development squad may also move out on loan.

Also speaking to the media today will be recent signing Will Keane, whose thoughts you'll be able to read on TWTD later today.
