Bolton Game to Go Ahead as Prohibition Notice Lifted Thursday, 4th Apr 2019 10:12 Town’s game at Bolton Wanderers will go ahead as planned with the local council’s Safety Advisory Group having lifted their prohibition notice on the University of Bolton Stadium. As previously reported, the Safety Advisory Group held an emergency meeting last night and, according to BBC Radio Manchester, have restored the safety certificate "following assurances from the club”. A statement from the council reads: "We recognise that Bolton Wanderers Football Club is at the heart of our community and this has been a deeply regrettable situation. "Partners are going above and beyond to put the plans in place to make sure games go ahead.” Town have also now confirmed that the match will take place as originally scheduled with 1,300 Blues set to make the trip to the North-West with tickets priced at £5 across the board.
