Town’s annual Open Day takes place this Thursday at Portman Road.

Gates to the free event open at 9.15am with the squad and manager Paul Lambert taking part in an hour-long signing session at 9.45am.

Entry to the Open Day FanZone is via Gate 1 on Sir Alf Ramsey Way but those wanting to attend the signing session must enter via Gate 17 on Portman Road.

Last year more than 2,500 fans got selfies and autographs with the players split across a number of tables.

The players will subsequently be put through their paces by boss Lambert and his staff in a training session on the main pitch from 11am, which can be watched from the East of England Co-op Stand.

Following the training session, a mascot race is planned with Town mascots Bluey and Crazee taking on all challengers.""

With the weather expected to be very hot, fans are advised to bring plenty of water and sun cream, although the bars will have drinking water available free of charge and there will be food and drink on site.

Mark Murphy’s BBC Radio Suffolk breakfast show will be coming live from the event, which was attended by 5,200 last year, while the FanZone will have a range of activities for all ages, among them the below.
