![]() Sunday, 28th Jul 2002 23:41 Reports in Argentina say Sixto Peralta has signed a one-year loan deal with Racing Club de Avellaneda. TWTD reported last week that the Argentinian champions were showing interest in the 24-year-old who has been training with them for a number of weeks. Peralta, known as Mumo, was previously with Racing Club prior to signing for Inter Milan in 2000 and is currently out of favour with the Italian club, not even being involved in their pre-season training sessions. The move will prove a disappointment to Town, and many fans, who had hoped the midfielder would return to Portman Road on a second year's loan. Inter had previously quoted Town a fee of £3 million for a permanent move, a figure that is currently beyond Town's reach.
