Judge in Ireland Squad Tuesday, 1st Oct 2019 11:43 Town midfielder Alan Judge has been named in a 24-man Republic of Ireland squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Georgia and Switzerland later this month. Mick McCarthy’s side face the Georgians away on Saturday 12th October and the Swiss, also away, three days later. Judge, 30, has previously won eight full caps and has scored one international goal. Also in the squad is ex-Blue Conor Hourihane but David McGoldrick is currently sidelined with a groin problem. Town are able to postpone their home game with Wycombe scheduled for Saturday 12th October if three qualifying players are called up - Anthony Georgiou has already been named in the Cyprus squad for their October fixtures and Armando Dobra in the Albania U19s party taking on Poland in a friendly on Monday 14th October - and we understand that now those three calls have been confirmed the match will be rescheduled.
