Sunday, 6th Oct 2019 11:03

Ipswich Town Women’s second qualifying round SSE Women’s FA Cup tie against Royston Town scheduled for this afternoon at the Goldstar Ground, Felixstowe has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

A new date for the game will be arranged in due course. The Tractor Girls, who hit the top of the FAWNL Division One South East last weekend by beating previous leaders Billericay 2-1 at home, are next in action on Wednesday evening when they take on Cambridge City at the Goldstar Ground (KO 7.45pm).

I see on the FA site this match is now scheduled for next Sunday, 13 Oct when the plate cup game v's Stevenage is due to be played. The Stevenage match has been put back to 20 Oct and Leyton Orient away in the league is now TBC
The good news is the winners of the Royston match will host either Norwich! or Cambridge United on 27 Oct.
Is this all official yet?

Yes you're absolutely correct Ozzie. Looks like we're playing Norwich again on the 27th. Then the next round is 10th Nov so the Basildon league game will have to be rearranged as well.
