Roberts Nominated for Trophy Player of the Round
Thursday, 14th Nov 2019 13:56

Town forward Jordan Roberts has been nominated for the Trophy’s Player of the Round award.

Roberts, 25, netted three goals in the Blues’ first two matches in the competition - the 2-1 victory over Tottenham’s U21s and the 4-0 win against Gillingham - but suffered a toe injury in the first half of the game against the Gills which continues to sideline him.

The former Crawley man is up against Newport County’s Tristan Abrahams, Maxime Biamou of Coventry, Accrington’s Jordan Clark and Leicester City youngster Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for the gong. You can submit your vote here until midnight on Monday 18th November.

Good luck to him, just a shame he hasn't got over his injury yet!

Top bloke. But somehow I doubt he would be ecstatic about winning this prize......
