Exeter Leasing.com Trophy Date Set
Friday, 13th Dec 2019 14:14

Town have confirmed that the Leasing.com Trophy third round tie against Exeter City at St James’ Park will take place on Saturday 4th January (KO 3pm).

The Blues were previously without a League One fixture that weekend as they were down to host Fleetwood, who will be in FA Cup third round action that afternoon. Town exited the FA Cup at the hands of Coventry on Tuesday.

Tickets for the tie are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for seniors/students and £1 for under-18s. Ticket sales details will be announced in due course.

Great news! Hotels are nice and cheap that weekend, and Exeter is a good city for relaxed tourism and pubbing. But of a trip, but well worth it. Last time we were there, the home bar was open for all, and we had a really good time there.

Good use of the free Saturday rather than a midweek visit....although either would have been good from the SW .....hopefully a bigger crowd and PL to put in a few more of the senior team

As predicted. Hope this is it and we sever our ties with this Premier League exploitation.

Excellent. A local away game and back home in time for tea!

Fond memories of our last visit there, very friendly home bar open to all fans. Shame about the game though, less said on that the better!

Hope we win this time, for all those wanting us to lose this match, may i remind you its a trip to Wembley! Our only other chance is a trip there in the play-offs, which i dont want! automatic promotion is the preferred way.

And its a competitive game for fringe players of course!
