Lambert Out Beer Launched
Friday, 19th Feb 2021 18:55

The Away Days Beer Company have released a new limited edition Lambert Out beer.

Owner and lifelong Town fan Josh Bartlett said: “As a lifelong ITFC fan myself, it hurts to see where the club is currently with there seeming no end in sight to our slide down the football pyramid.

“The Ipswich fans were there for me when I launched Away Days, and following demand from these same fans for a ‘Lambert Out’ beer, it’s only fair I repay the favour so am happy to announce the launch of the Lambert Out Fantasy Pack.”

The pack includes two bottles of the Lambert Out beer, two other ITFC-themed beers and two of Away Days' other brews, Fighting Like BEERvers and our American style IPA and Alan Partridge World Cup '94 sketch tribute, Liquid Football.

“Fighting Like BEERvers came about after Chris Kamara reached out to me on Twitter to me and suggested it as a name for a new beer, before he then ordered some,” Josh continued.

“There are only 250 packs available so pretty limited, but the demand from fans for it was there so had to do it.”

The Aways Days website can be found here.

Agree with other posters...... just an advert / after 5 mins of fame / axe to grind. Looks like it's not just the players who have let standards slip

A bit silly but not as ridiculous as Lambert still being at the club.
It seems that you have to lose more than 6 out 8 home games, turn a reasonable squad of players at this level into the worst team in a lifetime, insult the owner more in the national media, alienate more fans and put more than 2 senior pros in the U23 to lose your job at ITFC, Not to mention play a brand of football that does not involve shooting to get the sack!
Lambert has even failed at getting the sack.
C@NT!

For heavens sake grow up, it's a tongue in cheek, humourous bit of fun amongst these dreary times we find ourselves in. Take a chill pill, smile & move on.......simples!

can see the lockdown has killed off sense of humour in some people, i think there should be a beer for them too, '' Happy Clapper's'' that would be about 3% too,

Presumably most of the contributors to TWTD are members of the Junior Blues.

Why would any Manager worth having join the Club when such a toxic atmosphere exists? There is a small section of the fan base that believes ITFC belongs in the Premiership but unless a billionaire comes in,how do you fund that.MM did the best he could with two buttons and a sixpence. He was replaced with somebody trying to replace the team in one fell swoop.Lambert is out of his depth and Evans needs guidance on running a football club. However, the personal attacks, the negativity, the divisiveness needs to stop, get behind the team and what will be will be.Would-be Managers are watching and it'll take a lot to persuade them that this a united Club they should take on.

Presumably this beer initially looks quite good, makes the right noises when poured out but turns out to be flat, lifeless and ultimately very, very underwhelming?

Mate of mine says he's tried it. Apparently it went down without any kind of fuss whatsoever.
