Call me biased but I didn't see a push on defender for Bonnie's GOAAAAAAL!! looked more organised. COYB!

Gave them too much space in the midfield in the second half. Fitness????????

Sounded good first half on iFollow audio. Wiring that we are still seemingly struggling each second half by comparison to fists..... But the quality if football is so much better than recent seasons for sure👍. 5th place finish with a Wembley win to follow😎

If it was a foul being pushed why wasn't there any of their players protesting?...

Was a privilege being there amongst the blue army yesterday. Fully deserved win with a great 'team' performance. Fully controlled the 1st half. Under the cosh for the first 25mins in the 2nd, with Burgess especially immense at the back. Then we improved again with Subs Harper (who was a revelation in his new upfront role) and Aluko coming on, we were the better team at the end of the game.

How was Celinas impact vs when he came off? How's he looking for match fitness?
Excited we've still got players unavailable that will return soon, especially Morsy.
Players starting go "gel" now. Only a matter of time we'll be rising to the top.
Everyone goes through some losess. We've just got ours out of the way at the start of the season so we can focus on winning for the remainder.
Keep the faith. COYB!

TimmyH, I think there were protests for the goal. I believe their manager was yellow carded at half time for continuing to protest. Living in Lincolnshire, I listened to BBC Lincs, they were livid with the decision. I suspect there was a push in the back, but was it enough for a foul?

just watched the highlights & their defender felt Bonnes hands touch him & dived to the ground. It was no foul & a perfectly fair challenge by Bonne. Its all starting to come together i am glad to say. looking forward to the next game.

Phew, got away with that one looking at the highlights. I think if the table were turned there'd be a few fans protesting about the linesman flagging that offside ! A win at last, let's see what happens next.

Excellent first half. Coulson injury was a double blow, he was playing well and with no left back on the bench it disrupted the shape of the team.
That was never a push by Bonne!

Appleton is clearly a bad loser, but then what manager isn't? I'd say there was a bit of contact but the defender dived. Was it enough for a foul? Grey area, but the ref. said no, so get on with it. Second point, Appleton claims their "goal" was onside. Clearly complete rubbish if you view the replay.

Not a foul at all, if anything defender is looking for it and is way too weak to stake a claim at being fouled. Jees, some of the commentary on that has been so generous now i've watched it. We really are a club of self doubt if we think that was a foul to win the game!
