Town’s 16,350 season ticket holders will receive their cards in the post from this week, the club has announced.

All cards will be dispatched by Thursday 21st July ahead of the season opener against Bolton Wanderers at Portman Road on Saturday 30th July.

Matchday tickets for the visit of the Trotters are now on general sale with more than 19,300 tickets already sold. Season tickets and matchday tickets are available online here.

Tickets for the Carabao Cup first round tie against Colchester United have gone on sale to season ticket holders this morning.

Meanwhile, the Blues have sold out their allocation of tickets for the first away game of the season at Forest Green Rovers on Saturday 6th August.

It's almost like no one thought about the earlier season start; holidays, and so forth. So yes- should have been sent out earlier!

DJR added 16:58 - Jul 18 sotd78: I'm sure if you phone the ticket office they will email you a replacement e-ticket for the game. I did something similar for the last game last season when I couldn't make the game, and got them to email me a ticket which I forwarded to my friend, who went in my place. This was much less hassle than arranging to hand over my season ticket to him.

The shirt is no longer made by adidas so this needs to change as their logo is on the card. 2 - pretty sure we have new technology in the turnstiles now which eradicates the need for people to man them. Likely that the new cards will have had to be calibrated to allow entry via this system. 3 - remember the good old days of a season book. 4 - Uppa towen
