Only going on highlights.
Lots of positives for us, but we looked like we were too easily picked apart defensively at times, Nice being far the better flowing team & unlucky not to score/ win. Score line flattered us somewhat.
Its a last pre-season friendly, I know, so very much a lesson-learner set of games, but without Fridges defensive work (who I do think is underrated by some fans) & their clear cut chances missed, we could have been 3-4 goals down.
Unlucky we didn't score more (Ladapo / Harness in particular).
Match sharpness will come with McKenna at the helm, and I do think the lads will step up & do us proud once the season starts, but I cant help feeling nervous we have some way to go still. Early days.
