Halo Tease Town Shirt Sponsorship Sunday, 29th Jun 2025 20:06 Stowmarket-based service management specialists Halo appear to have confirmed that they are Town’s new shirt sponsor via a social media post.
Current sponsor Ed Sheeran revealed early last season that he was ending that aspect of his association with the club after four years - he subsequently bought a minority shareholding - with CEO and chairman Mark Ashton revealing at a Fans’ Forum in November that a replacement had been identified.
The social media post tagging in the official Town account, which later retweeted, looks to having confirmed rumours that they will be replacing Sheeran on the front of Blues shirts and also gives a glimpse of the still-to-be-released home kit for 2025/26.
Halo is a name familiar to Town supporters with the company having been sleeve sponsors since December 2023 and with their logos having also appeared around Portman Road.
Led by Town-supporting CEO Paul Hamilton, Halo, now the UK’s second largest software vendor, had revenues of $100 million (£73 million) and a market value of $2 billion (£1.5 billion) last year.

Halo was plastered all over the boxes in the Cobbold stand: HALOITSM; HALOPSA and HALOCRM for those that hadn't noticed :)

I called this early May, while the World Snooker Championship was on, on a threadon here. Halo had sponsored that event which must have cost a bit.

Clearly a much bigger group than the "stowmarket local" that they were originally painted as, Im surprised how big they are. Would make a lot of sense but teasing it out like this doesn't feel like a very Mark Ashton way of doing things....

Can't begrudge them having a little snippet on their own social media, prior to the big shirt reveal. Think it's a great fit for us, a successful local enterprise teaming up with the pride of East Anglia.

Big deal for Town and a big deal for Halo, hence the teaser campaign. What's not to like, local investment, White logo fits the shirt, Not a gambling company! I know many of us consumers will not get who or what Halo are, but that doesn't matter, they offer business solutions not consumer solutions. Sometimes we expect to know too much. Take the positives and the investment and focus on supporting the Town.

I can hear Beyonce's "Halo" blasting out on match day now. " ... I can feel your halo (halo) halo I can see your halo (halo) halo ..."

Astonished by the naivety of comments above. Deary me. A tech brand born and based in Suffolk, with key staff that support the club, that is able to pump millions into the club is pretty much the dream in 2025.

I'm very happy with HALO as a sponsor. Good local company, nice simple logo. In good company with McLaren F1! And best of all, not a betting company!! Is it just me or does the new shirt reveal/release seem to get later every year? I remember in years gone by, it would be revealed late May, early June.

PackwoodBlue, yes, used to be May but that shifted when we moved to Umbro and MA started his big annual Kit reveal. 2023 was July 1, a week later last year i believe. Im personally looking forward to it and hoping Halo is confirmed. It's clearly much more than a small local company with tremendous group brand strength across the US and Globe.

Yes gsoly, spot on. It's odd but whenever you get what is most definitely a good news story in here, there are at least a few who apparently know better. It isn't ES, nothing can replace his world wide exposure, though he's very much still here of course! Just wait till Omari goes for £35M, and Chelsea get 25% of the deal. The flack will be flying in here!
