![]() Tuesday, 16th Dec 2003 10:27 Referee Iain Williamson has agreed to reconsider the second yellow card he showed to Georges Santos at Millwall on Saturday. The Frenchman was red-carded in the 50th minute for an alleged foul on Kevin Braniff. Town boss Joe Royle has been told the refereeing assessor at Saturday's game and Mr Williamson that they will review the video evidence: "I asked the referee to have another look at the booking and he has agreed. It was big of him to do that, so perhaps there is an outside chance he will rescind the card." There is no right of appeal on red cards resulting from second cautions, and it will be an unusual turn of events should Santos avoid his one-match ban, which would cause him to miss the visit of Crystal Palace on December 28th.
