Doncaster assistant manager Richard O’Kelly is expecting a difficult game when his side take on the Blues at Portman Road on Saturday. Sean O’Driscoll’s right-hand man feels Town have too many quality players to have been relegated this season, despite spending much of the year towards the bottom of the division.

Loanee midfielder Jack Colback says he expects the Blues to be contenders for a top six place next season despite failing to make a challenge this time around. The 20-year-old won’t be involved with Town during 2010/11 with Sunderland boss Steve Bruce indicating that he will be part of his squad at the Stadium of Light.

On-loan striker Kevin Lisbie was red-carded last night for a headbutt as his Colchester side lost 1-0 to his former club Charlton at the Valley, ex-Town man Nicky Forster netting the goal. The U’s intend to appeal against the 31-year-old’s dismissal late on in the game.

On-loan striker Daryl Murphy says he will consider his future over the summer once he has ended his loan spell with the Blues. The Republic of Ireland international has scored six goals in 16 games since joining Town on loan from Sunderland at the end of January.

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett says he could be interested in signing current loanee Liam Trotter and his Blues team-mate Kevin Lisbie in the summer. Trotter has been a key man in Millwall’s push up League One in the second half of the season, while the Lions were amongst the clubs chasing Lisbie, who is currently on loan at Colchester, during the January transfer window.
