Town's regular Thursday afternoon press conference turned out to be a bit more exciting than usual with the sale of David Johnson surprisingly announced. Although the story had been doing the rounds for the last 24 hours, manager George Burley had told several reporters that no deal was done just hours beforehand.

George Burley is being quoted in reports this afternoon as saying that Forest's new offerfor David Johnson, now thought to be around the £2.75 million mark, has been turned down as being "unrealistic".
