North Stand season ticket holders are receiving letters from the club askng them to vote whether they want to spend the whole of next season in the South Stand or move back to an uncovered North after a few games of the season.

A late Alun Armstrong goal gave Town a point in a game they probably should have won. A goalless first half had seen Town the better side but despite a good chance falling to Marcus Stewart the deadlock couldn't be broken. Emile Heskey put Liverpool ahead straight after half-time.

Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is still angry that Town refused to have tonight's game moved to avoid congestion for the Merseysiders. He has also labelled Town "lucky" after their 1-0 victory at Anfield earlier in the season.

The North American branch of the Ipswich Town Supporters' Club are organising a trip to the friendly with the Charleston Battery on May 9th. The NASC say they have already had interest from some UK fans for Town's one and only game in the US.

Town manager George Burley reportedly was in Scotland to watch Falkirk draw 1-1 with Airdrie at the weekend. Once again his target was teen midfield sensation Mark Kerr. The Scot spent a week on trial at Town earlier in the season and impressed management and players alike.

Town's major injury worry Fabian Wilnis is back training and Town will decide tomorrow whether he is fit enough for selection for the crunch game with Liverpool. Wilnis injured an ankle in training last week, but the injury is by no means as bad as first thought.

Town reserve winger Sean Friars has been arrested and faces seven charges. The Northern Irish U21 captain will appear in court on Wednesday after being arrested yesterday.

Town's squad for the Liverpool game tomorrow includes both main injury worries Titus Bramble and Fabian Wilnis. Bramble injured his knee at Southampton last week while Wilnis hurt his ankle in a collision with Alun Armstrong last weekend.
