Annoying to throw it away but 4 points from 6 is a decent start
First half we were very good and a shame to not get the 2nd with good chance blocked on line and very decent shouts for a penalty. Sunderland were awful and made me think is this is the best the league has to offer we will do ok.
2nd half we completely lost our shape after the suicidal mistake from Chambers to allow them into the game. Sunderland didn’t make a single chance in the game.
More reasons to be positive that negative but definitely frustrating not to have won.

The referee.... wtf was that. Utterly woeful. I know this is L1 but he should never be let near a league game again!

Sunderland equalised from their only shot on Goal and Luke's mistake ruined a worthy Performance against the league's favourites.

Game of the proverbial two halves. Difficult for both teams when they attacked the North Stand end with the strong wind.
Lots of positives but sadly a familiar story of us not putting the game to bed when on top.

On that performance I'd get rid of Chambers and Judge. Maybe Chanbers has an influence on the younger players but we can do without his mistakes! As for Judge, what on earth is he about ? he replaces Garbutt who provided width and attacking options but when he came on all he did was interfere . he was on the right, the left and generally stopping the flow. He over kicked and despite his experience only delivered a couple of decent passes/crosses! I wish QPR had taken him and given our younger players a chance.

Wonderful support, happy with team selection/formation, enterprising start by Town. Hard pressing gets Town a well taken goal by Garbutt, and with Sunderland looking a very poor outfit, a home win looked on the cards. BUT then we lost our only goalscorer of this season, through injury.
He was replaced by Judge, who has the knack of chasing the ball all over the pitch (schoolboy fashion), and never holding a true position, and the whole balance of the team was lost, perhaps Roberts would have been the more apt replacement to keep the selected team shape?
Chambers spoiled an otherwise good game from him with a 'schoolboy' error that along with the aforementioned, cost us. Schoolboy stuff lost us two points today?

Although dissapointed we did not win thought we showed promise i think bringing on Judge and playing him on the left was a mistake which tends to suggest that Huws is no where near fit yet as he would have been the ideal replacement and we also had Dozzell coming on and playing on the right shades of the McCarthy days.

Great first half, looked a promising start to season but then seemed to flag through the second half and revert back to the old ways of last season. Hopefully mistakes can acted on and we can move forward stronger
