Are we heading to football heaven?....is it just chance that Mckenna has signed a number of players who have a personal religious faith? Morsy, Al-Hamadi, Sarmiento is probably Catholic, now Ben Johnson, Heck we even have Christian Walton! Maybe it's Mckenna's Irish background or could it be Mckenna likes the personal discipline and humility that practising a faith requires. Belief is a large part of football, you have to believe, these players have the ability to believe as part of their personal lives, Mckenna probably recognises they will have belief in their proffesional life too. This begs the question is Southgate the new Satan? |

Virtually all of Ladapo's presses were pretend where he just move closer to the opposition and then relaxed at the last second rather than commiting to the press. I understand about holding a player up zonally but that far up the pitch the press needs to be about regaining the ball or forcing the opposition into an error. It was a poor performance , not sure he will be here come the end of Jan. |

Do you think we are trying to play more long linear passes than before the last international break? It looks like we have been trying to spring defences from deeper rather than playing through the pitch at speed. Many of the passes are not coming off and we allow the opposition to regain possesion and come back at us and press us in our 1st 3rd.......could that explain our slightly uncomfortable games recently....thoughts? |

As fans we need to try and keep suporting McK and the team and this difficult time. Turning against them and ourselves will only add to the pressure. To much pressure often results in the players getting over psyched then their first touch deteriorates, passes go awry, and poor decisions are made in the final third etc. We are seeing all of this at the moment, it reminds me a bit of England world cup campaigns in the past when expectation were so high that players who were fantastic in weekly Premiership games looked inept when the pressure was on.....I hope we pull through this and we don't get an unravelling of the manager the team and the club.......stay strong... coyb |

Why is the support from the Sir Alf stand so poor? It reminds me of when Robson got into a lot of trouble for calling us "Zombies" back in the day because of the lack of atmosphere. Our away support is great with everyone chanting in unison....does nobody from the Sir Alf go to away games? You need to step up and start making a racket if we are going to win this league - Mckenna has asked for it ....stop being silent sheep! COYB |

We couldn't get tickets in away end so we've bought tickets in West stand section Q which is nearest to Town fans. It would be good to see other town fans around if you are thinking of going to the game. |
