It was a special tree though Rommy,mind you they are all special to me.
I’ve actually worked in a couple of gardens now and customers have had trees cut down for ridiculous reasons,one cut down a beautiful Indian Bean tree just because it reminded him of the person he bought the house of every time he looked at it.I near enough pleaded with him not to do it,as did his neighbours but down it came poor thing. |

You can buy a similar butt and stand from B&Qs for £35.
I had a load of bricks left over from a job so I used those instead. |

That sounds like a decent set up Ryorry and something you might see on ‘last of the summer wine’.
When I was working and the oldies had passed away the families of the deceased would always try to give me plants in pots and tubs,old garden forks,spades rakes etc,that’s why I have so many plants in pots and tubs and a garage full of tools! |

Well surely they would have realised it was a football stadium an old one at that?
I raise you the away stand at Crystal Palace now that’s a bit ropey.

I lost a butt like that it split right near the tap,I was gutted but I turned it into a compost bin.
I love cats so it’s a win win for me 😂 |
