Turnstile Blues

After asking the nice people at Turnstile Blues why I had paid £6 for a subscription last year despite there not being an issue since Jan 2020, I was told it was because they could not recover their costs while they couldn't sell copies at PR but that everyone who was subscribing would be told how many copies they were 'owed' when production resumes. In a spirit of fandom, I told them I was happy to write off the £6 and they didn't owe me anything and I would look forward to getting my copy as usual when they restart.
May I respectfully suggest that if you are a subscriber and are 'owed' copies, you write off your sub too, if you are able, so the Turnstile Blues people can put it towards producing even better magazines without the nightmare of working out who is owed what.
You can let them know at turnstilebluesfanzine@gmail.com
I have no connection with the magazine publishers, nor financial interest in it. Thank you for reading.

Hurst rides again
at 00:48 4 Jan 2021

Good to see Paul Hurst hasn’t lost his ability to charm a dressing room. After talking over at Grimsby...
Hurst said: ‘We need players in. There’s an old saying that you can put a dog on a pitch and it will run around, but you won’t do very well with a team of 11 dogs so we have to bring quality in.’

You are a disgrace if...
at 00:51 4 Mar 2020

You were one of the people booing our team during and after the game last night. I went to my first Ipswich Town game, aged 14, in 1967 and have been a fan/supporter ever since. From Bill McGarry to Bobby Robson to all the managers since then who have struggled to live up to the wonderful years we enjoyed under SBR. Some have come close (Burley for one) yet most have failed but nothing has stopped me loving this club. But last night I was ashamed when I saw that the players who went to applaud you were shamefully repaid by being booed by you. Did Tyreece Simpson deserve that at 18? He has only just signed his first pro contract, with Ipswich, and look how you greeted him. To compound your disgraceful behaviour, some of you then came on this forum and had a go at the few fans who clapped our players at the end.
Do you think these players, this manager, are dishonest people?
Bobby Robson once said that Ipswich is a club where the team have to lift the fans. Nothing has changed in the 39 years since he left. Fathers pass on their self-entitlement to their sons.
Why is it that when you see players strive honestly and fail, you cannot lift them? I laugh when I read the comments on this forum by all you brave keyboard warriors, who all believe you can do a better job than a manager. But I hang my head when I read comments from so-called Ipswich fans here that are couched in the most abusive, foul terms from the safety of made-up names
I am surprised at the connivance of the so-called moderators of this site who allow it to go on, rather than expose the people who think it is acceptable to write those words because they are paying customers of ITFC and are entitled. Paul Lambert is wrong to say they have to accept criticism from fans. Not from you they don't. You have one job, you are there to support them through thick and thin and if you can't do that you are not supporters of the club I love.
I know that if the team string a few wins together you will be singing their praises again.
And that makes you hypocrites.

Apparently Norwich don't have players anymore, they have operators!
As in (on their website):
'The draw for the Euro 2020 play-offs have been made, with some Norwich City operators handed their last chance at qualifying for the finals next summer.
and
'Jamal Lewis is one of four Norwich City operators hoping they can progress to Euro 2020 through the new play-off qualification system.'
