Is a pretty decent commentator going from today as well. |
| Forum Reply | What is Town's biggest ever away win? at 16:34 24 Aug 2019
We've won away in the league 6-0 3 times. 7-0 would be a new record. I think 8-0 would new record league win for us home or away. |
| Forum Reply | How about Paul Lambert ....yes or no ? at 18:56 25 Oct 2018
Last major success over 6 years ago, struggled at Villa and Blackburn, failed at Stoke and was judged surplus to requirements at Wolves when their takeover happened. I'd be highly sceptical about this appointment even if he wasn't an ex Norwich manager. Seem like we've been cursed since the day we sacked Jim and bit by bit the club's soul is ripped out, if it is Lambert at least I'll be at Millwall to see the last flickering of our pride under Klug before we trudge off into Lambert's reign. |
| Forum Reply | Milne gets a lot of stick.... at 14:45 26 Mar 2018
Day to day running of the club. Though I think it would be a far better situation if Milne were to be made CEO with decision making powers on the understanding that ME would continue to put £6 million per annum into the club with the club otherwise being self-financing. Milne seems to know how to run a football club far better than Marcus does, he just isn't being allowed to. |

If it's six figures you are best getting some proper advice/investment fund to look after it. Hargreaves Lansdown are excellent for this, very professional, able to cater to ethical tastes etc. Short of that, put as much as possible into an investment ISA, though again Hargreaves Lansdown would do that for you |

The MEG logo is at least discreet and not an affront to logo design, this looks like it was designed by someone trying to be awful at their job. |

I think this is his tenth season of playing but not ten years since debut, he was with the club 07/08 but didn't play, I'm not sure if he was ever included on the bench. Made two appearances 08/09 [Post edited 8 Jan 2018 23:12]

He played for Rangers this season in the Europa League qualifying I think, so he wouldn't be able to play for another permanent club this season if that rule is still in place. |

Really don't know what has happened to him, but massively cost us tonight, screws up the easiest chance of the night and they score 30 seconds later, then instead of running it into the corner like everyone else he does a weird chip up, they steal the ball, counter and score. Honestly think Moore would offer for us then him now. |

Was rather happy with the way he played, we actually seemed to be able to hold on to the ball when he came on, didn't make any incredible passes but did some nice distribution work, found a way to make passes rather than hoof. Ward was also an improvement, subs definitely played better than the three they replaced. |

For the first time this season we were both ahead on shot based expected goals and non shot based expected goals, ie overall we were better, just failed to put the ball in the net |
| Forum Reply | 10-man Millwall winning 2-0 at QPR at 21:11 12 Sep 2017
So, according to the stats, QPR we actually matched in the game. Non shot based expected goals we were equal with them, and I'm pretty sure thats the first time we've managed that since the opening day. |

A very similar and possibly worse squad made the playoffs under MM, and despite the ridiculous transfer fee inflation, the quality of the league isn't much improved. |
| Forum Reply | Why is the 'hammer and sickle' flag considered not offensive? at 22:31 11 Jun 2017
Short answer, in a lot of countries, especially in Eastern Europe it is considered as offensive if not more offensive than the Nazi Swastika. Poland legally equates the two as symbols of hatred. Its not in Britain because we never lived under Communism or had Communist sympathising government. As such we are rather far removed from the atrocities whereas the defeat of Nazism plays a key role in our national story. |
| Forum Reply | Could Theresa May Have Blown It? at 12:26 26 May 2017
The Tories got to within 5 points in 97 at this point in the campaign, Labour then went on to win a stonking majority, it doesn't mean anything yet. As an aside, some of the polls have been throwing up really weird crossbreaks, they have all changed sampling techniques from 2015 to try and correct that error, it could just be that hasn't worked. |
