Anyone else been caught out by the under-14s standing rule? Now looking to swap two standing for seating for the Saturday night. |

"Would take a point at Birmingham" I mean, maybe. But we're in June and hardly any transfer business has been done. By anyone, not just us. Predictions now are surely a fool's errand. |

Friend of mine went there travelling once, said the people were the friendliest he had ever met. A good example of why we should always differentiate between governments and those they rule. |

Have a read https://www.iranintl.com/en/202409229026 "Many Iranians argue that Western observers sometimes fail to grasp the extent of the suffering caused by these groups, which are not just abstract entities but have actively participated in violence, oppression, and the perpetuation of authoritarian rule. "Iranians also see hypocrisy in Islamists, who wish to impose ancient, draconian laws while simultaneously benefiting from modern technology. These groups preach ideologies that advocate practices from 1,400 years ago, such as polygamy, public flogging, and amputations. Yet, they readily use advanced communication devices, military technology, and even social media to further their cause." [Post edited 13 Jun 16:18]

I imagine a majority of Iranians hate what Israel is doing in Gaza, but would be happy if Israeli bombs and drones help remove the current regime. They tried peaceful protest, and many were detained, tortured and murdered. |

For starters here's a Tweet by celebrity Town fan and proud Iranian Omid Djalili |

A lot of Iranians will be hoping Israel's action can help topple a very corrupt, cruel and increasingly unpopular regime. Many Iranians hate the fact that Iran uses Hezbollah as a proxy army |

It took me a while to give a thumbs up to every post mocking your nonsense. But it was worth it. |

Yeah the business context is understandable. But given thousands of their pints are drunk in places like the Greyhound on matchdays and they're a Suffolk brewer it would be nice to have more official links. |

As an aside, I know we have happy memories of Greene King due to the 1999-2000 promotion season shirt etc, but I wish we had more link ups with Adnams as I think a lot more Town fans drink that than GK. Just a matter of taste but I wouldn't wash my car with GK beer but Adnams have a superb range. That said, GK probably have more money to throw around. |

If our one season in the Prem has taught us anything, it's that it is a league of giants. Recruiting lots of skilful players who will bamboozle the opposition in the Championship will make next season fun, but as you say we need to be looking at the season after that. |

They'll be fighting for sixth, you'd think, along with the usual suspects of Coventry, West Brom and Boro. Top five likely to be a combination of Southampton, Sheff Utd, Wrexham, Birmingham and us. Discounting Leicester for now due to possible points deduction. Manning did well to get City to the play-offs but a lot of my Bristol City supporting friends were bored by the football they played. Very functional. |

It's not the club's fault if people wasted the chance to ask more serious questions. And given that most clubs would never let their CEO answer unvetted questions from fans in public and live stream it, I don't think this is the cover up people think it is. |

I think perhaps as a wider fanbase we didn't help ourselves with those forums. The questions certainly weren't vetted there, you could just stick your hand up and a lad with a microphone would come scurrying over. But a lot of the time was taken up with "questions" that weren't questions at all but rather pre-prepared speeches, or stuff about parking tickets and people having to walk a bit further on a matchday due to stadium footprint changes. |

Our decline under Evans allowed Norwich to really get a foothold in Suffolk. That will take years to reverse despite our recent success at first team level. |
