"Failed in recruitment" Two words for you Liam Delap (plus getting McKenna to sign a new deal) |

Since Gamechanger came in the club has worked well ahead of where the fans are thinking, looking at the summer transfer window while we are all focussed on January. That's been mentioned in dozens of interviews. They will also be fine tuning the new shirt sponsor contract when the Sheeran deal stops, looking at shirt designs as well and the overall stadium redevelopment and the land around it. But sure, let's drag him out of those meetings and get him to do a cheesy interview for Town TV. If you look back, he rarely gives interviews during the final weeks of transfer windows, but often does one afterwards when the dust has settled. |

And if he was front and centre, some people would be asking why he's not in the background signing players |

We bought Delap for a deal that will rise to £20m. We will probably sell him for £60m+ and that profit alone is enough to pay for the sort of players who can help sustain a Championship promotion push. Pholigene is being written off after a couple of games by people who only have to look back at the history of this club to know many of our best players didn't shine immediately. Muric has been a poor investment, Jack Clarke has struggled and we have decisions to make in the midfield but the idea our recruitment has been poor is wide of the mark for me. It's not been perfect but then look at Man Utd and how much they have wasted on substandard players over the past three years, and they have a global scouting network. |

Hope Cov sells out, it's rare to get such a large away allocation and I've always thought the acoustics at their ground are excellent. Has potential to be a great day out when there isn't the stress of Prem points on the line. Also lots of people just cannot break into the right points category for Prem away games this season so a chance for them to see Town on the road. |

Er. When we bought him for nearly that and we have a savvy money maker as CEO? Someone has plucked a number out of their behind there |
 | Forum Reply | We are missing a few chants at away games, how about bringing back at 17:50 12 Nov 2024
On EEJB, I may be in the minority but I like the fact we usually stop at "calls me Ted". The song is pretty rousing up until then, but the second verse is a bit naff and doesn't really work as part of a football chant. The bit we sing, in isolation, is great. Overall, pleased to see the song making a bit of a comeback in recent years, as it is uniquely Ipswich |

Wolves seem to be shipping goals for fun. |

Especially when we are still to get back our tax cash given to companies to make PPE that didn't function and led to the death of healthcare workers at the start of the pandemic. Billions of it. |

There is a bit of irony in singing "your support is ****ing sh**" to the West Ham fans a few times in the first half then leaving on the hour mark because the game wasn't going so well. Appreciate some just left to get earlier trains back but a few were guilty of the above behaviour. |

Exactly. The revival of the club and the development of the stadium and the area around it are a massive boon for the town. It's so well located in terms of close to the station and close to the town centre, supporting multiple pubs and cafes etc in the process. Would be a disaster if we moved. |

The frustrating thing about all debate on this subject is that it has been forgotten that it is possible to believe Netenyahu is a war criminal, but also that Hamas and Hezbollah are cruel murderers who do their own people no good, in fact use them to further their own ends. Everyone gets silo'd off into different groups as if it is not possible to have a mixture of thoughts. |
