Yeah let's just carry on getting behind the team because that's worked for the last 10 or so years. Some people clearly not familiar with Einsteins definition of insanity. Let's get this protest on our fan base has always been way to submissive & that needs to change. Call it entitlement if you wish but football & the world has changed & so has the expectation levels of a number of football clubs who historically shouldn't be fit to lace our boots. Why should we accept that we can't compete with Bournemouth, Bristol City, Preston & Millwall and fall back on the old "We're lucky to have a football club" line. Have some ambition for crying out loud! |

Reading between the lines Mick is bringing him back & he's expecting that someone will make a bid for him. He's already said he wouldn't be starting ahead of the other strikers & when he's made his mind up he generally closes the door. I hope I'm wrong but just can't see where he'd fit in to the side unless Garner is out long term or Sears moves on.

It's a great idea, but it's one that can't be done half heartedly & needs to be driven with the help of the club & the fans. I remember somebody setting up a website to try & get a group together next to the away fans in the SAR lower a few years ago. I specifically brought a ticket in that area on the day the group was meant to begin & they'd obviously abandoned the plan before it started, as it was like a funeral.
I've got a season ticket at Stoke now because of location & the wife. Whilst they don't have a massive repertoire of songs, the ones that they do sing really echo around the ground. They use their FA Cup final song from years ago 'We'll be with you' and obviously Delilah as well.
Town fans just need a small selection of songs that are constantly sung, & the more it's sung the more the fans will adopt it as their own. As much as I hate the scum the way their PA guy counts them in 3,2,1 to On the Ball City as they come out the tunnel seems to work. The country road variation looks good, & I'm sure there are other songs that resonate with Ipswich & Suffolk.

Move the away fans to other end of the Cobbold & stop using the excuse that the Police won't do it for safety reasons.. West Ham (twice) & Arsenal have had supporters in those sections for Play Offs & Carling Cup. The atmosphere was amazing.. Was there any trouble? No thought not! |

Blue Fred is spot on.. Neither player wanted to move but knew once Pompey had accepted a fee, the only way to get out of it was to ask for extortionate wage demands that we wouldn't agree to.
Stuff em we don't want players like that at our club. Our targets should be players who see Town as a big step up & want to come here & prove themselves! |

As a Prison Officer in a Suffolk Jail I know that he will spend his whole Sentence in a Cat B Local Prison (most likely HMP Norwich) I do agree that there are better ways to punish this idiot but the ways we would like to see him humiliated are not possible due to damn Human Rights. I would love to see him marched around the pitch before the Newcastle game personally.. Scum! |
