Out in Town after the game on Saturday. Not been out in Ipswich for years so am curious as to where is decent to go after dark. Looking for somewhere with music & a bit of atmosphere rather than a pub. Is there anywhere left that is decent? Anywhere with a few cougars on the prowl even better. I’m in Lower Sir Alf hope there’s a few of us there to get some noise going. |

Fair enough I’ll be honest I’ve lost touch what our formation is & whether Burns is now a wing back or full back, but yeah that would make sense & they would be more in the Chaplin, Harness, Ladapo area of the pitch. |

Me neither, & that definitely wouldn’t fit our current model under McKenna & Ashton. Must say though I’m surprised they didn’t find this out before bidding. I’d prefer Collins from Bristol Rovers or Brown from Exeter who I think would suit us better. |

Further to my post yesterday my mate who is involved down at Plymouth has told me that Whittaker wants to stay at Plymouth (Probably why he’s in the squad today) He doesn’t want to join either us or Derby, so it’s up to Swansea whether they call him back for the sake of it or negotiate with Plymouth over a transfer. Again not expecting anyone to believe me but take the content as you wish. Disappointing if true but not our only option up top with some of the names linked. |

Could be wrong but I think this is the first window that they can. Edit: They can’t so it’s likely they will be offering money for a loan which they can do, so I’d imagine we’d be offering the same. [Post edited 30 Dec 2022 20:33]

As has been widely mooted he’s going to be recalled by Swansea in the next day with Derby & us bidding for him. Argyle have tried to keep him but can’t compete financially. I know it’s been rumoured of our interest but this has come from a contact at Plymouth end. Apologies if wrong & I’m not trying to be a def info merchant, but if true then our intent is clear. Believe he’s played for Derby before but could McKenna & Ashton tempt him here. |

ITFC Shop.com have just started following the official Umbro account on Twitter so I'd expect an announcement within a week if our Adidas deal runs out on 31st May. |
| Forum Reply | Lee Gregory - An Insight at 15:59 6 Jul 2021
I've seen him quite a lot as I'm a season ticket holder at Stoke & the one thing you can't fault is his work rate. He literally runs himself in to the ground every game & battles for everything. His scoring return isn't too bad & he was in & out of the Stoke team under O'Neil before he went to Derby. He can win the odd header & draws a few fouls in dangerous positions due to his hold up play, but the one thing that he lacks unfortunately is any pace. If we're looking for power & athleticism in our front line then I wouldn't be advocating signing Lee Gregory. Better than Jackson in our current style yes, & would be a decent option to see a game out, but I'd like to see more pace in our front line. |

I'm a season ticket holder at Stoke (live there now & wife's a supporter) & he is a figure of ridicule there. He looks about 20 stone trying to shift around the pitch & doesn't even hold the ball up particularly well. Wouldn't be what we should be looking for in my opinion & likely to be on at least 10k per week. Cousins is who we should have signed from Stoke. |

Weird one I know but I want to buy a season ticket to help fund the club (especially as turnover is a big thing) but I live in Stoke on Trent. I travel down for work on Tuesdays & Wednesdays so can only make midweek games. If anybody is in the opposite boat of only being able to make weekend games & has an interest in a season ticket sharing option please let me know. |

Know Nige he’s a good bloke who served with the Royal Anglians & has also worked as a Firefighter for Suffolk Fire & Rescue. C2C & Nige now go in to Prisons training Prisoners how to Barista with the aim of getting them in to employment on release. Recently had his foot amputated so the last thing the poor fella needs. Thanks for bringing the subject up. |

Coming season: Good clean, touch up areas that need it, new dugouts, improved changing rooms, planning permission & architect drawings for a new Cobbold Stand for a 5 year stadium plan. Next season: Announce plan to fully replace Cobbold Stand with identical stand to North Stand with executive boxes. Works to also incorporate replacing roof/renovate the existing Pioneer Stand with improved player tunnel entrance & big screen above. Season after: Carry out works at appropriate time & refresh other areas of the ground to bring PR up to modern day elite stadium standards. |

Yeah it's a bit downtrodden up Hanley (& most of the other 5 towns tbh) but the area will hopefully improve with time & investment is starting to arrive finally. Love the countryside outside Stoke though. Also obsessed with cheesy oatcakes as well! |

Yeah I don't post much I kind of observe most of the time. I've done the opposite. Lived in Braintree all my life but moved up to North Staffs for the wife. I remember going to watch Town at Port Vale back in 99/00 & thinking who the hell would want to live here. Turns out I do apparently. I actually work at Hanley Fire Station. Your family definitely live in the nicest part of the city, love a Sunday afternoon at Trentham Gardens or a short drive over to Barlaston. |
