Town Topic: Memories of The Beat
at 18:28:34

I was on the small coach of fans that went to see Fabian Wilnis' final game at Grays Athletic some years ago.

Just before the coach left Kevin drove past in his car, shouted something then parked up and joined us for the day, (no idea if he planned to or whether it was just on the fly).
He was so entertaining on the coach, at the match and afterwards in the bar. When I left the coach at the end of the day he gave me a big hug saying " see ya later, big fella".

To think Town's greatest ever player called me 'big fella' filled me with such pride.

He was an entertaining down-to-earth man and a true gent. RIP Kevin

Milne: Great Feedback on New Kits
at 17:20:02

It's only great feedback if you ignore the negative feedback.

The shorts should be white. Any other colour is a mistake and the fools who decided it was ok to play in the wrong strip should hang their heads in shame.

"That design came with blue shorts" What a prat!

Next season we could be playing in orange shorts if it that's colour the shirts come with.

Marathon Match for Charity Marks Anniversary

Surely it was 8-0.

Not counting Ince's scandal of a freekick, taken when Forrest was being booked.

Seriously though, good luck

It is indeed disappointing the way it has been handled.

Derby Moves Back to Saturday and On Sky
at 16:50:37

Whilst Saturday is better for a derby I do wish the club had not announced anything before it was finalised.

I bought tickets for something else but only when the switch to a Sunday game was actually announced. Then they switch back to Saturday. Poor way to treat people.

Oh well, 85 quid wasted. Live and learn

Derby Set to Switch Back to Saturday

No, it's not that the club will make an announcement. The club have already made an announcement

If things had not been agreed with the police before that announcement then it is that where the club falls down.

Until they cleared things with the police, they should not have told everyone the date has been changed, as the club website did.

It was the club that made an announcement that the date had changed though.

Derby Set to Switch Back to Saturday

This is really annoying if it happens. To be honest, I did not realise that there were further discussions to take place. Why did itfc.co.uk announce a date change 3 days ago, if there were other meetings?

Following the club announcing the date change I bought tickets for something else. (Rugby League Challenge Cup final).

The club is run by idiots. Thanks a bunch
