We dug that result out by sticking to our game plan. Accrington are a team of giants, especially at the back, but in the end we passed the ball through them and found two excellent finishes. Yes, swallowed them a lot of possession, but we defended resolutely, and Holy only had to make one really good save. Kenlock was excellent, others have noted our record when he plays is very good. Edwards, Toto and Wilson really good, and Chambo also stood out. |

Odd tactics from MKD. Even when we went down to 10 men for the last half hpur, they left 3 back + a DM just marking Hawkins. Made it hard for them to put pressure on our defence. |

Hawkins, for me, was MotM, despite not scoring. He tied up their defence and made space for the MF to attack them. Dozzell found it hard, being man-marked by their striker when we tried to build from the back, but shrugged him off enough times to make a difference. Edwards rarely looks great, but his goals and assists record is excellent. York's distribution was poor, but his defending was fabulous - at times it looked like we had put a Toto-shaped stone wall in front of whoever was trying to shoot. |

Horrible display, not a single player worth applauding. We were second best in every department bar goalkeeper. Judge maybe best of a bad bunch of outfielders. Sadly, Josh and Idris were quite poor. Toto looked like a Conference player.

A game of two halves. The manager was brave to make the half time changes, but they worked. We looked good second half, positive, enthusiastic, hard-working. Last 15 mins, it was top-of-the-table Brentford who were hanging on for a point. |

Utterly great day out. Sears' run for the opener was as good as any singer you'll ever see, with pace, determination, skill and delivery. His goal showed the same attributes. Bart was wonderful. Good match. We were clearly trying to play a bit more football, especially out of defence, and the lack of head tennis was welcome. But, and it is a huge but, our players are clearly not fit enough to play that kind of football. We were leggy from around the hour mark, and pretty much gone from the 80th. I am glad we have moved on from MM, but accept we'd have ground out at least a point under him and TC |

Woh, the rating of Skuse is way too low. Superb performances from him. Waggy unplayable at key moments. CCV kept their big bloke very quiet. Tactically, Mick got it bang on right. |
