Is that really what you have been up to?

I only ask because it's not what the experts say people have taken to doing.

How many of you tuned into the Queen yesterday?
at 22:01 6 Apr 2020

The sole reason we had it on in The Sentence Household was because WifeSentence is a carer and felt that some of her old folks might want to discuss it.

As it was she said absolutely nothing insightful, her delivery was the usual dreary monotone and she ended up harking back to the war with that 'we'll meet again' sign off, which had me rolling my eyes.

If anyone else had delivered that speech it would have gone without notive and I struggle to see why otherwise sensible people get excited about it.

There you go, I have just clicked on something about DocuSign, another one about bonds and another one about toolmakers.

That's your lunch paid for today.

These things to tend to bring out the authoritarian in people, to the point that I have seen people on those 'neighbourhood' sites getting arsey because not enough people are clapping on a Thursday.

I predict clapping fascism will become a thing.

There were plenty of cyclists about round my way yesterday, I saw more cyclists than cars whilst out on my Boris Approved Exercise yesterday.

For those worried about congested lanes, the densest was still no more than 1 cycling encounter every half mile.

The farmer behind me has started irrigating his fields already, which is the earliest I can recall him doing it.

HM Government needs to update social distancing advice to include keeping at least 2m from lions and tigers.

And rural constituencies suffer for it. Tory governments don't work hard to get their votes because they don't need to, and labour governments don't because they don't have a chance.

If I was a campaigning man, in the absence of PR, I would try to persuade people to vote whichever way would make their constituency more marginal. Regardless of who they supported.

I am no fan of Angela Raynor. She seems to be one of those urban centric labour types who has no understanding of the problems of rural areas.

Have an uppy for the point about Bojo's reputation for running and hiding preceding him.

I am pretty sure he wouldn't be on the receiving end of such criticism now if he had been a bottler in the past.

His reputation is catching up with him now.

I'm worried.

Not so much for Boris, I am sure he will get over it, but now Raab seems to be in charge.

what is everyone doing about their hair?

My pre-lockdown strategy was to get it cut short, leave it as long as I could, generally 6 to 8 weeks and then go back and get it cut short again.

When lockdown hit I think I was on week 5 or 6 and it is starting to get wildly out of control.

Are people cutting their own hair? Just going full on hippy? What?

This comes to you from GeoffSentence, asking the big questions.

You should know by now that any global crisis, regardless of where it starts, is the fault of the incumbent UK government.

I have pretty much stopped watching the news on TV as it is the same thing over and over again, and it is bloody depressing.

Anything new that happens I get alerted by other people anyway, so picked up on BoJo going to hospital that way for instance.

Blake's Seven.

Wobbly sets and all but it was one of the best sci-fi shows ever made. Great characterisation and story lines.

Nice to see you carry on to the very end GB. I'd definitely like you on my football team, you'd keep going and nod one in in the very last second of injury time.
