I recall reading not so long ago since he moved away from London into Suffolk, he's swapped his Chelsea ST for a Town one

Having watched the championship highlights, I'm going to keep my eye on Nodge's goal difference this season.
I hope they don't benefit at someone else's expense by (currently) one goal, because yesterday's penalty was a most suspicious decision, as it was so clearly nowhere near inside the box |

Link is to a music humour site who publish parodies (in my case, lyrics are where my "talent" begins & ends) I'm no singer nor musician - other than my fellow Town fans, I can't think of any connection with ITFC & the music industry..!

Soft penalty decision, but we're told we have all this quality, but I didn't see it. Watching Southgate's England is frustrating, as they look like they're trying to walk the ball in. What ever happened to attacking teams, showing your quality, opening teams up, causing them problems, creating gaps & opportunities, & having a chuffing good crack at goal.
I loved how good a finisher Shearer was, & how creative & exciting to watch we were with the likes of Gazza, Beardsley, Beckham & the like.
I want to see us play like that again. Even if this team gets a result, it's utterly unconvincing.
What say you? |

It's a rare treat for me to get to PR (I usually manage 1 a season)
After last summer, I knew it was a long wait, but it had to be this fixture.
After the death of Sir Bobby, I was at PR for the visit of Newcastle (unbelievably, I'm in an image from that occasion that now appears on the SBR stand - that's me holding the 3rd B in BOBBY, next to the Y!)
Can't wait for Sat, to be present for the occasion & the opportunity to say thank you & goodbye to Paul Mariner, my favourite player as a kid growing up, a big reason I became an Ipswich fan, & definitely the reason I had the hairstyle I did!
Also, as a fellow Iron Maiden fan with a certain sense of humour, you may appreciate these parody lyrics!

I loved seeing the old yellow badge return on last season's kit, marking 40 years since the UEFA Cup win.
However, I also like the modern badge, especially since the three stars appear above it.
How about a compromise?
Keep the current badge including stars, but where there is red, how about yellow? |
