It's been such a team performance this season that it feels impossible to select any one if them. Every player has been awesome. There have been amazing stand out moments, all listed. It's been up there as one of the best seasons I've ever seen. |

I hope there is some science behind it and the queueing system improves. I live 120 miles away, attended every home game and managed to get tickets for 11 away matches. It would be nice to see that recognised. Also sorting out the "prove you're not a robot stuff" would be handy as it is pretty difficult from a mobile phone. |

My first game was home to Newcastle 1975 (lost 3-0) and I was hooked. I’m still as daft about the game today and leap around like a lunatic when we score. Here are just some of my highlights from this amazing season: Taylor’s screamer against Wolves Burn’s goal of the season Crowd singing Sarmiento’s name as we left The King Power Millwall away Hull away & Omari's goals The drive back from Blackburn (8 hours to get there but 3.5 to get home) Chaplin rousing the team after going 2-1 down v Southampton and their reaction Sarmiento’s winner at home v Southampton Lewis & Mikey in SBR Lower – top lads Alex in SBR upper – seeya next season Ipswich Town Football Club, all the players, manager, CEO and staff. What a team and what a year. |

Not if you've driven from Yorkshire and Leeds were 3 nil up with the hope dashed. Where's your sense of occasion:) |

Town 4 - 1 up with 10 minutes to go. Huddersfield equalise with last kick of the game. Everyone happy. Just a thought |
| Forum Reply | We need more from Chaplin at 08:12 28 Apr 2024
A but harsh in my opinion. Chaplin thinks faster than a lot of them and misses Clark behind and Wes in front. We should also consider that the opposition teams have sussed our game and Chaplin is tying up their defenders which is leaving more space elsewhere. |

It was a good show last night playing a good team and the lads were ahead three times, hit the crossbar and had one cleared off the line. Compare that to Leeds at QPR to maintain some perspective. I'd rather have seen a win last night but since I couldn’t get a ticket to Coventry, looks like we'll all be at the party on Saturday. Best noise since Millwall away in my opinion. |

Reminds me of Barnsley away last season. The lads will be pumped up, rested and going for it. Hoping for a great night. Couldn't get Coventry tickets but will be at PR or Huddersfield. COYB and Go Hoops |

Boro, QPR and West Brom are decent sides and are all playing Leeds & Leicester. This season has proven that any side can be beaten or get a decent result against any other. We're top with three to play which is awesome. We were a goalpost away from two wins last week which would have made my regular three hour trip home a lot more enjoyable but sh1t happens. Win the next three and we're up......to become part-players in a contest that only four teams can win (sorry about that whinge on the PL). Meantime, I've missed out on Coventry tickets and face the dilemma that we've lost all the matches I've watched live on TV this year. Therefore, I will be staying away from the telly as my contribution to our promotion challenge. |

But they did and so did Leicester |

...even though the tit behind me today in SAR thought he knew better than McKenna. With a bit of luck we'll wrap it up at Coventry. |

Massive own goal from the club. They needed noisy support. |
| Forum Thread | Kevin Beattie memory at 10:25 9 Apr 2024
Back in about 1975 I went to an evening match v Leeds with my best mate, Andy Bull and despite being 4'10, I persuaded him to go to the noisy section in the North Stand for a look-see. Naturally I could see naff all so he commentated: Beattie's tackled him on the half way line, he's running with the ball, he's got past another one , he's ........... At that point it went nuts as the shot hit the back of the net. Those were great times and this season is right up there with them. |
