I am desperate to fix my old iPhone (5s) after I dropped it and it decided to stop working and go into what I believe is a bootloop. I have many precious photo/video files as well as notes on there and I'm really hoping to get the phone fixed so I can regain access to it and salvage those files before ultimately replacing it.
I've read up on ArmaFone — would anybody on here recommend them? I know they seem to be based in Ipswich and they have a shop at the Sainsbury's in Stanway so I would probably go there as that would be their closest location to me.
If you can stomach it, this is a very quick football quiz I have made on naming players to score for England('s men) in the final of a major tournament.
Only four to get and they are ordered alphabetically by their surnames (surnames are sufficient as answers). Ninety seconds to try and get them all although this will be more than enough time for many, I'm sure.
An international football quiz I've just made if anybody would like to have a go.
Twenty national sides have played at just one edition of the men's FIFA World Cup (finals) and there are six minutes to try and name as many as you can — do let me know if you think this time limit is fair or not.
A few of the answers are teams that have only played at the World Cup once since becoming independent but they made multiple appearances at the finals when part of larger, now-defunct countries.
In its sole qualification for the WC finals, one of the answers played against (and beat) the team it later reunified with.
Two of the answers made their appearances at the World Cup under old names, and these are shown alongside their current names when guessed correctly — both the former and present names are accepted as answers.
Just need Romania to defeat the Dutch and Austria to beat Turkey for the full set.
Also, England’s goalscorers thus far have been Bellingham, Kane, Bellingham and Kane, so we know who will (hopefully) score first for us on Saturday.
The picture that was uploaded with the listing (a badge of the Pioneer 84/85 home shirt with the red bar across the front) is out of focus but you get the idea:
If anyone has one of these that they no longer want or would be willing to part with for a price, I would be interested!
I bought an ITFC shirt from eBay recently but it arrived and was a size larger than it was listed as. Before returning it, I thought I’d check on here just in case anyone has one that they would like to swap as they have outgrown it or perhaps they just no longer want.
The shirt was the 2002/03 maroon/burgundy away shirt with the TXU Energi (not Powergen) sponsor on the front. It’s in good condition and is a size XL (it was supposed to be a large which is what I am hoping to try and get).
Another shirt that I got on eBay a while back was the 2005/06 Powergen home shirt with the three stars on the sleeve. That was a size M which was a tad smaller than I would have liked so if anybody has a half-decent one of those in a L I would be interested!
(One other one I’m on the hunt for is the 2007/08 E.ON pinstriped shirt with the three stars above the badge, in either M or L.)
Initially aired on Sky Sports in March 2009 and uploaded to YouTube by ITFCJez a couple of months ago. Apologies if already shared here.
I think they get slightly mixed up as there is talk of Beattie’s bonfire incident in relation to the 80/81 season although I thought that was in 76/77?
There is also an episode entitled “The Ramsey Years” with Crawford, Phillips and Carberry that is hopefully out there somewhere. Strangely, none of the 36 episodes focus on Norwich City...
Slightly updated quiz after today's match at Wembley.
There are up to 10 minutes to try and get as many of the 40 answers as possible (the quiz covers all play-off final winners and runners-up in the second tier since 1987).
One-minute quiz on naming the five clubs that have won three (or more) league titles in a row if anyone would like a quick go — I think I have shared this here before (a year ago) but I've just slightly amended it after today's results.
