My son works for Castore so sort of knew this was coming. I agree with the fears expressed.. ok, might be able to get discount on a kit and some free tickets but I’m not a fan of their kits and loved that we were getting genuinely bespoke designs off Umbro. My son isn’t sure if Castore will keep the Umbro branding or start putting their logos on the existing kits but we are finished with the contract at the end of next season, so they are going to have to match our needs for us to stick with them. Our progress on the pitch, with shirt sales and attendances mean we hold a lot of cards. |

The club benefit significantly from his progression short term and long term. On the pitch now it’s helping us and even if his long term future is elsewhere, big clubs will see this and trust us with their best talent if we ask for it. The key though is holding onto MCK for as long as possible. |

I don’t see him playing a minute for Chelsea next season. I could be wrong but Chelsea have so many attacking players many whom they’ve paid very large fees for. I suspect he’ll be out on loan again and hopefully with us. That’s not wishful thinking, just realistic. In fact as an academy product there is a chance they’ll sell him to help with their FFP and to fund another splurge. |

So much depends on which division we are in next season. Travis would probably love to play in the prem, but would we be looking as some have said at upgrades across most of the squad. There are players who could certainly play at prem level, but perhaps not all in the same side. If we are this league Travis would be hard but not impossible to better at this level. Morsy and luongo aren’t playing 46 games in a season. |

He’s enthusiasm and desperation( I mean that in a good way) pours out in this interview. It’s possibly down to his back story? I know not the same but I always loved Ian Wright because you could feel his desire and joy at playing football and being paid to do something he’d been doing for nothing into his 20’s.
I think we have a potential star on our hands if he spends enough time working under McKenna and retains that determination to be the best player he possibly could. |

If paul cook were still in charge and we hadn’t had more than two years of a manager who doesn’t have the insight of a drunk fan in a pub I’d still think that was a negative prediction. Never understood the positive of “Paul cook sounds like a fan” and as you are a fan you are proving my point.
We could play the U21’s and still reasonably be seen as favourites. Could we lose or draw? It’s possible but only someone drunk or on drugs would think it’s probable. |

I’m still a little puzzled about this… we’ve now lost Hirst, Scarlett and Freddie from our pre new year squad… and even if we signed two strikers we are down on numbers.. it also lets clubs know we are more desperate for strikers than we were before.
