Doesn't surprise me at all that there's crossover between the type of fan that would want to see this absolute nonsense, and the type of fan that doesn't understand how player registration works.

Fair point, wonder if anyone itk here knows if it's even a discussion (you'd think Coventry would give them a heads-up if there was even a chance)

Agreed, and we don't NEED to risk him for that. I'd be trying to get him ready for Tuesday.

If that's the case, you'd hope the club are asking the question.

It could be, but that doesn't mean it is.

Even if QPR win, tomorrow is the huge night not tonight.

Yeah, that's the main reason not to like him to be fair, other than than I don't mind him either.

I don't know - I guess so if you could guarantee it but I don't think the anxiety in advance would be worth it! Autos still preferable for me.

We have had a fantastic season and couldn't be more proud of the team, yet it could still be anything from ecstatic celebration to absolutely devastating.

At one end of the spectrum we've got winning against Huddersfield at home to book promotion to the PL, resulting in the party of all parties.

At the other end, our season ends watching Norwich celebrating promotion after beating us at Wembley, and we're listening to an ironic rendition of Portman Road is falling down.

What a horrible game this is.

15 years is shaping up nicely to end

Would agree with this - I don't see them finishing 6th now as for all of the 'Carrow Road is falling down' excitement, they've put a good second half of the season together and I think they'll finish 5th.

A lot hope has been pinned on Southampton to peg Leicester and Leeds back.

They have been flat track bullies all season, shouldn't be a surprise.

Being a pessimist doesn't prevent you from enjoying it when you're wrong.

I much prefer to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

Win at Hull and suddenly things will swing back in our favour

We might need to win at Hull and Coventry before your post is accurate.

Why are Leicester allowed to get away with no points deduction this season
at 07:26 23 Apr 2024

I don't disagree with the general point.

I do think it's a bit tinpot that these threads (not yours in particular) only seem to emerge after we fail to win or good results for Leeds and Leicester.

It isn't fair, but neither are parachute payments in the first place. It's one to discuss post-the playoffs for me.

You can do all that in one thread though, no? He's not saying you can't do any of that.

You'll get downvoted for it, and I know it's a controversial take on here. But for me the absence of match threads.

Look at the Leicester forum as an example. There's a Championship, Other Games and also individual match threads. It's a much easier to follow format that also serves as a good way to look back.

It is a bit of a messy free for all on here during any significant match with people treating new posts as if it's a chatroom.
