Not forgetting Alex ‘Palmers Green’…near Wood Green (Clive WoodsGreen). I used to live there as a boy! |

Despite the PSG tag I don’t live anywhere near France, but I have studied French for 20 years, and I am nowhere near fluent. To reach that level you would have to live in a foreign country for a year. But I reached à good level by using a course on CD by Michel Thomas who teaches it in a pretend class room which involves two other students. He teaches French, German, Spanish or Italian without the use of reading or writing. He builds up the grammer slowly so eventually you get to speak in the future or past tenses. I used Michel Thomas and then started reading and watching DVDs etc. Also I then started to learn written grammer etc. I also go to French conversation once a week, although it teaches you little but you can practise talking to people. So start with Michel Thomas CDs/on line and go from there. |
 | Forum Reply | Away Ballots at 20:39 13 Feb 2025
I am quite sure that most members had bought their membership ahead of finding out that only 2% was going to the ballot. I was expecting to see 5-10%. A ballot for 60 tickets is almost worthless. I felt the club were slow on informing supporters about the 2% limit. This may work the other way next season with those with less than 20 points not bothering with the membership unless they still require it for home tickets. |
 | Forum Reply | How much would you pay for a seat at PR? at 23:27 15 Jan 2025
One way to combat a big rise on season tickets is to just sell four or five tickets back to the club. At let’s say £40/£50 a ticket it soon adds up. Then at least supporters who cannot afford a season ticket for let’s say £800 could still pay only £600 a season and still watch the likes of Liverpool, Man City etc. If the demand is so high to increase S/T sales by 50%, then they will always be a demand for your seat if you choose to put it up for sale. |

I am sure that Des Lynam is not quite dead yet! Currently 82 according to Wikipedia! |

Did you hear this on Scott Mills today? I also outlined exactly what you said to my other half and was told that I was obsessed with Ipswich Town! Although very true, this song brought back great memories of the Burley era which ended in promotion. I still remember the feeling of anticipation with this song booming out just ahead of the teams coming out. I believe this was the same era of when ‘Right here, Right now’ started. |

I have a S/T but only 7 away points. So all homes games guaranteed! I felt the club were a bit naughty in regards to the away ballot by only issuing 2% of tickets in the ballot and not informing that this would be the case until last week. By which time most fans had forked out £35. If it will only be 60 tickets or less for the away ballot then anyone with a S/T and less than 15 points will find their membership as good as useless! In my case, living in Sleaford, every game is an away game. So with exception of Forest away, I wasn’t too concerned buying my membership early. But now I probably won’t bother with the membership at all. Of course you could think of it as a donation to the club, but fans should have had all the facts first before learning that they would be fighting out over 60 away tickets per match.. |
 | Forum Reply | Manchester City (a) ticket details at 16:12 2 Aug 2024
I have a season ticket but if I join the membership scheme I only have 7 points. Is it worth joining for a 2% ballot. I notice the club did not inform supporters of the 2% ballot until most fans had signed up. Will it always be just 2%? Perhaps fans who never make it to the point where they can purchase a ticket and fail to be successful in any ballot should get their money back for joining the scheme. The club are slowly but surely becoming hard faced business like instead of family friendly. We are now in the business of making money no matter what. Perhaps not a bad thing if we want to sign top players etc. |

If you bought your ticket via the ITFC ticket website, it will show history of your ticket purchases. That should help you to some degree. Have you got a confirmation email on your phone which will also show proof of purchase, |

Potentially Morsy has not got a league match till Preston away, 3rd Feb. Rotherham game will be postponed as it’s FA Cup 4th round on that weekend. |

Haven’t even played them for five seasons the past is irrelevant. What matters this season is we could go up automatically, at worst the playoffs. Got Norwich it’s mid table boredom as per last season with a small chance of finishing 6th. Their highlight of the season was yesterday! |

Despite our brillant run we have not featured on SKY at all this year (off the top of head). However SKY decided to back their limited League 1 coverage by solely covering those losers Sheffield Wednesday. If nothing else our brillant team should be shown nationally to at least allow people to know what’s coming next season! |

I would be surprised to see any cameras outside town or city centres. I am sûre if something had been coming you would have registered the lights. Easily done, you won’t do it again! |

I am surprised that Bill’s death hasn’t made more of a headline on TWTD. It was well published back in the day that he followed the Blues. Bill and Brian Cant being the best two Town supporting celbs before Ed came along, |

I can’t believe that at age 57 she has been queen longer than I have been alive. Just think at the time she had become queen, Ipswich hadn’t won the league under Sir Alf, Kennedy was yet to be shot and the Banana Splits were still ten years away - it’s nuts! |

Despite the name PSGBlue I actually live in Sleaford, so won’t be a regular at the Parc de Prince anytime soon. Having been a regular 1977 - 2014 my job has made it impossible to have a season ticket and it was down to 5-8 home games a season plus a few away games local to me. However having not attended a match for a year, I have not missed PR, such a miserable place these days. Once crowds are allowed back, I tell myself that I should start to watch ITFC, once again. But it now feels like an effort rather than something that I want to do. I dare say I will come back eventually. But to answer the question. An Ipswich Team probably created by fans is almost more appealing than going in the ME era. Doesn’t say much about the state of play now. It will be interesting to see how many return once all the restrictions are lifted. 12,000 tops? |
