Why is it that if an MP defects from one party to another it doesn’t trigger an automatic By Election? If Ipswich for example voted in a Labour MP with a 10,000 Majority and in 6 months time they defected to the Tories then for 4 and a half years Ipswich would be represented in Parliament by a party they didn’t vote for and I’m Pretty sure most people vote for a party not a person So surely if an MP defects there should be a By Election with the standing MP representing the party they’ve just defected to and the original party should be allowed to stand a new candidate against them and then the voters decide. |

I've touched on this on previous posts but i just can't seem to get onboard with anyone. Sunak is a muppet who literally seems to put his foot in it even more every time he opens his gob, Starmer just doesn't inspire confidence he doesn't seem to have an ideas or policies where you go "Bl00dy hell thats good" and on big things he hasn't really said what his ideas even are .... i get the impression he thinks if he doesn't say anything he'll win cos the Tories are so bad ?? The Liberals and the Greens .... some of their ideas are good but others are awful and i couldn't support them in a million years. That leaves Nigel Farage who has one good idea but little or no substance on anything else at all ........ I always say to people if you don't vote then don't moan .... but i'm really struggling here

 | Forum Thread | If McKenna goes to Chelsea .... at 14:33 23 May 2024
Why don't we put John McGreal back in as Caretaker Manager ... Then when Chelsea sack McKenna in October because he hasn't won the treble we can just re-employ him !!!! |
