I’m sure though that a massive majority of Premier League fans would in 7th heaven at the thought of Man Utd being relegated instead of Ipswich. |

We set out last season to give it our best shot although,if truth be known, not expecting to get promoted at the first time of asking.
We did the same this season but with objective being to survive rather than storm up the table. Survival this year would give us a chance to strengthen next and look to establish ourselves in the top flight. Fourth from bottom, this season would be a win.
The biggest difference, as I see it, is how as a whole we lack the physical strength or our opponents. That has shown more in those last 15 plus minutes.
Our long term injuries plus shortcoming in our own supply chain have been our undoing.
We can’t do much about injuries but we do need to take urgent steps to ensure we have youngsters ready to step up. I every other Premier League team seems to have. Players under 21 physically ready to grab their chance. |

You may not intend to be controversial but you are pretty good at it.
Incidentally the figure you quoted for state pension was the new state pension. Older pensioners will be on the basic state pension which is around £2,000p.a. Less, although those with no other source of income can close the gap with Pension Credit. |

I know the U18 team were weakened by players moving up to U21’s but the academy is our weakest link. |

There seems to be a rule that all midweek fixtures require the away team’s fans to have to travel long distances. Expect mid week trips to Preston or Blackburn, M’boro or Sunderland. |

Update. Diagnostic carried out, full house every possible fault showed up. Cleared and reset now no warning at all. Picking car up later will take it for an extended run with fingers crossed.

We used that extra width in Championship & League but it has worked against us this season.
The only dimensions for Portman Road I can find shows a pitch width of 75m, although I thought is was 72m. That is a lot of extra space to explore. |
