| News Comment | Police to Speak to Burton About Walton Missile Incident at 19:51:05
Do I read into this that despite live footage and object being passed from referee, to fourth official, to steward, that nothing was reported by Burton Albion to their local constabulary, ie. all brushed under the carpet but for fans reporting it. Police response would indicate so. |
| News Comment | McKenna: We’re Looking at Different Aspects of the Training Ground at 10:16:31
It's hard not to get excited about the potential future for our club being unlocked. We are in great hands top to bottom to move forward again, in fact we already have started. Every message and action being taken is bang on the money. The winter of doom, I mused in the message board what the dream change at the club would be. It's actually happened, except far far better. Keep going everyone at ITFC, because next season it starts, and we might even sneak at late run at this season. |
| News Comment | Lambert on Referee: That Wasn't Acceptable, That Was Incredible at 07:58:30
Peterborough based ref, key decisions all totally called wrong and in favour of Wycombe - you could say incompetent (that'd would be entirely correct) - but based on the evidence tonight I'd say he had an agenda. Worst official I've seen in 30 years of watching the game. |

Great response. Spot on throughout, and you hit the primary issue on the head in the final paragraph, which all commentators inside and outside the game choose to continually ignore in favour of sound-bite populist articles. Despite our predicament, I certainly do not "rue" losing McCarthy, and have enjoyed what we a trying under Lambert - we just lack the ability to invest in the quality needed. |
| News Comment | Klug Hopeful Squad Strong Enough to Stay Up But Admits Current Position Frightens Him at 13:27:31
Chambers - he has his critics, but he's an absolute legend as a Captain. Passionate, truly bleeds ITFC, and what he does with the squad and in and around the club is exceptional. In early next morning to work with the kids after being so down at Leeds, and clearly the players meeting - a rally call to the players, and to reassure them (especially those bought in by PH who I am sure will be unsettled at this time). True leader. True Blue. |
| News Comment | MDs: Academy Will Step Up to Category One at 12:51:55
Echo a lot of the above comments, and RetroBlue's in particular. Finally, a future plan, so obviously the right plan for ITFC, that everyone buys into. Evan's financial security, MicMac's wise management, and Klug developing the future talent. Best news out of ITFC since the takeover. The feel good factor is starting to return. |
| News Comment | Town Topic: What Could Improve Matchdays at Portman Road? at 20:40:01
Some good ideas...particularly; 1) Cash ticket turnstiles, without the price hike 2) U13's free 3) Move away fans to other end of Cobbold 4) If there's going to be music or a club song before kick-off, pick something fans can join in with. My favourite proposal "My Way" in honour of SBR 5) Cross bar challenge half time for a free season ticket, or full refund if you already have one 6) Bigger scoreboard showing highlights. |
