This is a new low and how much further will we fall. It looks like getting rid of Cook was a mistake as at least with him we had some passion. There is absolutely nothing there tonight. These players are just not good enough and should be ashamed of themselves. Every time Barrow attack we stand off giving Barrow all the space they need. Very sad times at our beloved Club and unless there are drastic changes it will not get better. How many of these new signings are earning their corn tonight - answer none. Whatever must Ashton and Co think of this shambolic display. I am absolutely furious just hope it is not a cricket score now. Very worrying times.

Jethro, RIP. (n/t)

One of the few comedians to have me laughing in the isles. A bit rude sometimes but added to the hilarity.
Last saw him at the Spa Pavilion Felixstowe 3 years or so back.

Lots of names being thrown around but why not go with names associated with our beloved Club. Give John McGreal the job until the end of the season with Dyer as his assistant. This option appeals to me far more than Harris and the likes of Warnock, Pulis and co.
Who ever is appointed it needs to be done quickly as this season will slip away from us before we know it.

getting through to main ticket office…
at 13:56 30 Jul 2021

Had to help a good mate of mine yesterday who sits with my family in Lower Sir Alf. His season ticket that was received yesterday was for the Bobby Robson stand. How can they get it so wrong ? I too rang the ticket office for my mate and was 10th in the queue. After a 30 minute wait got the problem solved and the office said they would send out the correct season immediately. Absolute shambles and so frustrating, for it seems several other fans.
Hopefully the new regime will look at the failings of the ticket office or the system.

Team morale
at 16:00 18 Feb 2021

There is no way that morale is high after that shambolic gutless display against Northampton. That performance to me reflects the players are not playing for the Manager and unless Evans pulls the plug we will fall further down the league table. I don't understand why Mr Evans has not come out and at least given us dedicated fans his take on where this once great Club is going. We probably need around 14-18 points to avoid relegation but with this Manager there must be a slight doubt that we can even achieve that points total. I am seriously worried about the very sad plight of my beloved Football Club and so frustrated that nothing is coming out from the top on its intentions for the remainder of the season. Please Mr Evans just issue a statement to us supporters so we know where the Club stands and stop dithering when action should be taken now.

TEAM: Four changes. Old boys back.
at 18:11 9 Feb 2021

That line up just does not make sense to me. Matheson brilliant on Saturday and he is left out. Two excellent attacking wing backs and replaces them with the oldies on a mud bound pitch. I really do despair. Don't get me wrong I want all that wear the shirt on the day to do well but that line up is a worry to me. Really hope I am proved wrong.

Phil - Surely this is beyond a game by game basis now?
at 18:54 27 Jan 2021

If the Cowleys were so good at Huddersfield why were they relieved of their duties.
Do you really want to see kick and run football at ITFC. I can only imagine your 'why Howe' comment is sarcastic as he did a terrific job at Bournemouth. Yes it did not go well at the end but on small gates he massively over achieved. My other suggestion of Paul Cook looks an unlikely possibility if he has turned down Sheffield Wednesday.

Only my opinion but if there is a change I would not want the Cowleys. Yes they were successful at Lincoln where obviously the caps fitted for them, however at Huddersfield they could not match their achievements at Lincoln. Not sure their football is the ITFC way but winning would probably win the fans over. For me if there is a change it has to be Paul Cook or Eddie Howe. Both are advocates of a good style of football although Howe at Bournemouth struggled in the defence area shipping a lot of goals. Not sure Howe would come anyway but think Cook would. I think it may be a bit too early for Dyer and Butcher but would not be adverse to it.

19 years since Milan!!! Who was there!?!?
at 18:28 7 Dec 2020

Fantastic memories of Milan not just the football but climbing the steps to the top of Milan Cathedral. Did most of the Europe trips but for me Moscow is top of the the list. A fantastic City although you had to behave or be in trouble. Unusual to be greeted by the military when the coach dropped us off at the ground all armed with rifles etc. Enjoyed all the trips I went on i.e. Luxembourg, Sweden, Holland, Italy for Lazio (Rome) where we were tear gassed on exiting the ground. Wonderful memories that our beloved football Club gave us. So sad we are where we are now.

Evans Out!
at 20:12 8 Mar 2020

I really despair at our supporters and whilst I agree the Evans journey has not been the success we wanted it to be, what other mug is going to pump 6/7 million a season into the Club. All the decisions he has made have been in what he thought were in the best interests of the Club and made decisions on the advice and help of others i.e. in appointing Managers. We were all excited with Keane but he failed miserably. Jewell was a really nice bloke but sadly not up to the task and it truly affected his health. I could go on but the biggest mistake was the sacking of Jim Magilton who in his last season actually beat Norwich City and we finished 8th. Magilton was hounded out by ridiculous protests outside the ground never seen before at Portman Road. That group should be ashamed of themselves but it looks as though we never learn and will not be satisfied until another bloke is forced out by the fans. I live and die Ipswich Town but despair at the behaviour of our so called supporters wanting an owner who has kept the Club afloat with 100 million quid thrown in. If Evans ups and leaves we will be in serious trouble as who else is going to invest in a tier 3 Club with very few assets. If you anti Evans brigade get your way then rest in peace Ipswich Town F.C. it could really be that bad.

Well done Lambert your rotation method has really succeeded hasn't it. You have now made yourself a huge problem as rotation will continue - if it doesn't there will be many high paid players not getting a game. We have the players to be successful but Lambert has completely ruined the fluidity and impetus of a good start. Todays result against Exeter reserves is a new low for this once great Club and makes me so sad. Luckily I have been around for all the good times but they are a million miles away from where we are now. Very worrying times for our once great Club. Can't quite get my head around how far we have fallen but it is what it is sadly. Well done to all the fans who travelled down to Devon. Some will say today was a mickey mouse cup which may be near the mark however today was an opportunity lost to boost confidence and get that long awaited win.

I really wonder if Lambert has lost the plot. What a dreadful line up. Nsiala a walking disaster. Holy must really be frustrated - Keane for Jackson really. No creativity in midfield - how can we expect to perform when so many changes are made every game. This strategy is clearly not working but still Lambert is seemingly as stubborn as our last Manager.
In football you never know so just hope for the best but not confident with this line up.

An away match on top of an unnecessary replay
at 22:21 12 Nov 2019

Totally agree Blue Moses. I am afraid I am slowly losing faith with Lamberts strategy in cup games and looks like I am not the only one. I am sick of us being unsuccessful in cup competitions and the disrespect the Manager has shown to the fans who would dearly love some success in whatever cup competition. Lose at Lincoln which we will if the same strategy is adhered to and then get an away draw at the likes of Peterborough in the EFL trophy then fans will become even more angry with the Manager. Over 2700 of our fans made the effort to support the team tonight. Its a pity the Manager did not show them the same enthusiasm with his team selection. Its 90+ minutes of football Lambert which is hardly going to damage the fitness levels of our players especially when our next league match is on 23rd November. I have said my piece but am so disappointed tonight.

I'm knackered......
at 16:19 6 Nov 2019

I too got home at 3.15 a.m. We parked near the ground and what a mistake that was. It was gridlocked every turning we took. The mystery tour then commenced as apparently entry to M62 was closed so we ended up going through Huddersfield to join the M1. Then had signs telling us that junctions 31 to 35 on the A14 closed so had to go via Cambridge to get back on track. Thank heavens we won.

Already here in nice hotel next to Broadfield Park. More Town fans expected according to receptionist. Half and hour walk to ground again according to receptionist. Never been to ground although visited the Town when we played Bury many moons ago.
