 | News Comment | Norwich Linked With Bullard Bid at 18:07:46
Good to see Norwich blowing all their premiership money before they even get their hands on it. Go on Jimmy take them for all you can, then settle back for the season with a knee injury!! |
 | News Comment | Tyson Turned Down Forest Deal at 20:37:46
Sounds like we would be buying a whole heap of trouble with the whole family weighing in as well |
 | News Comment | Keane Bemoans Lack of Goals at 23:43:03
Total lack of ambition by the manager, then he moans that we don't score goals. We have 3 decent strikers that would walk into most teams in this league, but he plays only one, even then the midfield do not support that lone striker. Coventry played with two upfront, they were a real handful for our defence and sorry to say they deserved to win, cos they wanted to win more than we did. Very sad. |
 | News Comment | Garvan Fee Agreed at 18:40:49
Will be a shame to see Garvan go, but for the sake of his career he needs to play for a manager that knows the meaning of good football. So good luck to him. The ones I feel sorry for are US, the supporters, another season of running around like headless chickens showing lots of character as we get played off the park by teams that actually pass the ball to each other before slotting it in the net. Keano, please go now, you have done enough damage already. |
 | News Comment | Walters: Some of Eight Will Stay at 20:36:34
MarcFowler - being physically fit has very little bearing on how long it takes to get over glandular fever, you are obviously not a doctor. Garvan is our most talented footballer in the squad, there is clearly a problem with Keane's man management of Garvan and unfortunately he can not/will not get the best out of him. I would rather Keane left and Garvan stayed and we get in a manager that appreciates good passing football, unfortunately I think Garvan will go first and we will be left with the same old rubbish we watched last season. |
 | News Comment | Town Turn Down Palace Bid for Garvan at 21:12:03
Don't want Garvan to go, but for his sake a move to Palace where he will play for a manager that likes to play a passing game will be a good thing. Then once Pablo goes that is us about done as far as skill is concerned. I assume this Direct football style that a previous poster seems to enjoy so much and quotes as the English style is the same style of football our international team used to such success in the world cup. What style do Holland and Spain use? that would be a passing game, a bit like ITFC used to do under Robson. Unfortunately our direct football style last season was the reason we finished lower than we had done for decades. Please don't force it on us fans again. |
 | News Comment | Town Turn Down Palace Bid for Garvan at 20:09:51
Very true Kent Blue, with the manager we have now we are destined for another season of kick and rush boring football. Players with plenty of work rate but no ingenuity or ability to spot the killer ball, and also too afraid of the silent stare and wrath of the manager if some fancy trick goes wrong. We all know Garvan is no world beater but in my opinion he should be an integral part of our midfield with either Leadbitter or Norris doing the donkey work. ITFC were/are renowned for playing attractive football, we hardly saw any last season, please Keano give us some entertainment this season please! |
 | News Comment | Bolton Premier League Side Chasing McAuley at 20:20:19
Ridiculous idea to sell him. A few weeks ago our strongest positions in the team were right-back and centre-half. If this goes ahead, Keano will then need a new full-back a new centre-half, a left midfielder, a creative central midfielder as he doesn't rate Garvan and at least one if not two strikers. Who has he been linked with so far? A goalkeeper!! |
 | News Comment | Keane: Wrights Unavailable at 22:26:53
Keano, after everything the two Wrights have done for the club over the years, I find your dismissive reaction to them offensive, but we know you don't care what we think, you couldn't even be bothered to walk around the pitch after the game to show some respect for us fans that have stuck by you this season. |
 | News Comment | Keane Looking to End on a High Note at 22:32:11
Having differing opinions as to the merits of our manager and the players does not surely mean that we are not true ITFC fans? |
 | News Comment | Keane Looking to End on a High Note at 20:04:16
How about playing some decent football, with attacking intent for a change. Three points would be nice but Keano we want to see a good game of football to round the season off and maybe just maybe whet the appetite for next season. If we have to accept another season of the dull unimaginative rubbish that we have had this season then you might just find that the fans won't be quite so 'magnificent' as we have been this. |
 | News Comment | Season Ticket Total 12,800 at 21:20:49
It's nothing to do with the recession Mr. Clegg, please do not deceive yourself. It is all to do with the boring, unimaginative rubbish that has been dished up this season by our clueless manager and lets face it he is hardly likely to suddenly become a good manager during the close season. Also, leaving ticket prices the same as last year and making out you are doing us a favour is an insult. The season ticket prices should have been reduced to reflect the loyalty of all of us that had to sit through this season, that would also have allowed more flexibility to reduce match day tickets, rather than use the excuse that it wouldn't 'be fair on our loyal season ticket holders'. To be honest I don't care if the guy next to me has got in for a fiver as long as he gets behind the team. |
 | News Comment | Mariner Apologises to Keane at 19:49:53
Top bloke. You can not blame him for wanting to catch up with some of his old mates, personally I'm sure no snub was intended and I really can not understand why Keano felt the need to mention it to the press. |
