That will mainly be down to a step up in intensity you would imagine though. We run a lot, more than most teams. Should be less common next season playing at a lesser intensity for less amount of time. We have also had some freaks. Ogbene injury, Axel Injury |

The reason it wasn't given was ineptitude. Chaplin has the ball at his feet he shifted it to his stronger side, one would assume to get a shot off and the Leicester player has flew in completely out of control and essentially shoved him to the ground. There was no effort to even win the ball, he simply just runs in to Chaplin in the box when the ball is in his control. It is as blatant a foul and penalty you will see all season. Was a staggering decision. |

Our away fans have been pretty good all season. Compared to the fans we have had visiting PR who more often than not, have won, but sat there in near silence all game. Our fans were vocal consistently on Saturday, at 0-0 and at 0-3. So seems a strange angle to take. We haven't only started singing when we are getting battered. [Post edited 28 Apr 9:14]

Yep the Kassam is a weird example. Awful ground. |

With the amount of moved Kick off times and early Saturday games I am looking forward to it less. I want Ipswich to be the best they can be and ultimately be a club that can push on and challenge the top half of the Prem. To do that we need to be in the Prem. So I wouldn't say I'm that excited. |

That is without any additions though. It is an incredibly strong base for that level. Couple new midfielders, new left back, new striker, new Right back on top of that and we will be looking good. 5/6 additions, make use of the loan market as we have previously and that should be ready to go. |

I think the injuries on the right hand side have really really hurt us. And hurt Leif as well. The right hand side has became essentially void (Johnson much improved in recent away games). It has left Leif doing so much going forwards and then having to back as well. I think in a better team those defensive lapses would be masked a lot better so it wouldn't surprise me to see him get some interest. |

He will and should play the best available team to try and win games. Although, half the squad seems to be injured so not sure he has much of a choice in who he plays atm. |

I would disagree on that. I'm not sure a 21 year old with little premier league experience playing in a newly promoted team would be expected to dictate any game. His G/A numbers haven't been what we would have wanted but I feel his general play has been decent and super important to the way Mckenna wants us to play. He is by far our best ball carrier and think his numbers on those stack up pretty well against the rest of the prem. He is a level above the championship and would expect a club to buy in to the potential. Brentford or Bournemouth maybe. |
 | Forum Reply | Is this a red card in the premier league? at 11:18 22 Apr 2025
The post I was replying to implied that its a tackle which happens all over the country every weekend which just isn't true. As for the screenshot, I would need to see the challenge in real time, I cant remember when it happened in the game. But if it was the same as Leif's then yes it should be a red card. Clearly. |

130m from a base remarkably lower than every single team in the league. 130m doesn't get you anywhere in this iteration of the premier league. West Ham are the 4th worst team in the league. Add up the value of Paqueta, Kudus and Bowen alone and you end up with about double that. Let alone the rest of their squad. Not to mention the teams who will end up being the 5th/6th worst teams in the league could be playing each other in the Europa League final. Lets have a bit of realism. |

"Relegation from the premier league is purely down to the manager" Or down to the fact that every other team in the league has vastly better players than us ? Just a thought. |
