Fascinating thread this, genuinely. Lets say plenty of people who went on this march were just ordinary normal blokes, concerned citizens who want a serious solution to immigration in this country. Not got a far right or racist bone in their body. I will even add in that were completely unaware that Stephen Yaxley Lennon was anything to do with this. Surely the moment they learnt that SYL was the poster boy for this event that should have been their sign to leave, fast. He is a racist, there is no debate to be had about that. The issue with the above is that it takes a lot of mental gymnastics to get there. This is why those on here who are pointing out that these are just normal blokes, who are a good laugh and aren't racists aren't making sense. Why would these people be happy to associate with the former face of the EDL and a career criminal? It is fantasy stuff. |

Was very encouraged by the Nunez debut. We are going to play a lot of low blocks and his range of passing and ability to switch play will be really useful. Saw some really good stuff from him in his cameo. |

Nope. I want to be a competitive Prem team. I really feel like the club learnt their lesson after last season, mainly with recruitment and how we recruit overseas. Sunderland are laying a great blueprint with their recruitment, athletic, competitive players from overseas. I back the club to learn from that and do better in the transfer windows should we get back up. |

Don't see anything wrong with that. Just a group of lads spending their day at a rally organised by a career criminal who has multiple assault convictions. Still, nice lads to chat to in the pub I suppose. |

Think there was some fairly serious prem interest before. West Ham one of them. If you think of what makes a successful striker. Pace, power, runs channels, scores all types of goals. He has so much to his game. |

Made some really good runs in behind as well I thought. |

Decent off the ball, offered very little on it. We essentially ignored our right hand side when we were attacking last night. In part as Jaden was so good. Mcateer is a solid enough player but I do think that is he all he is, which is ok if your other winger plays like that. |

Agree tbh. Thought Azor was absolutely superb, won it back so many times. Wanted a bit more from Cajuste out there had a few nice pieces of skill but not a huge impact on the game imo. |

Really enjoyed his interview. Sounded driven, focused and made it clear he was willing to take on the challenge and didn't shy away from needing wins fast. Enjoyed his cameos so far, hope he gets the start. |

Azon and Azor is going to get confusing isn't it. |

Yes or no, had the attacks on the music festival not happened, would we be seeing such a forceful attack on Gaza? - It is impossible to say, but I don't think it is out of the realms of possibility that Netanyahu would have been willing to do something like this even without it. He hasn't shown mercy in the past nor has he ever shown any interest in stopping the conflict at any point. What happened at the music festival was atrocious, it should be condemned the world over but the reaction that has followed cannot still be seen as a retaliation. it is so far past that point. Do I enjoy seeing thousands of children killed as a result, no. But it’s not something that consumes me, at all- I don't think it has to consume your life if you don't choose it to, it rarely comes up in conversations that I have. But do you really believe the people who bang on about it are 'Freaks'. I don't understand that language or who it helps. I'm not a sensitive person and want free speech as much as anyone but I just find that characterisation of people who are vehemently against the slaughter of innocent children as freaks, odd. |

Hang on. So you care about those innocent people who were murdered in Israel (which we all should, it was horrendous) but not the innocent Palestinian people who are being murdered daily (which we all should it was horrendous) That seems odd to me ? Why would one group of innocent people be more worthy of care than the other? "I do wonder if we’d be seeing these scenes in Gaza if that incident hadn’t occurred (I guess we’ll never know)" We sort of do know, the attacks on Gaza didnt start after the musical festival. |
