It's not you, I've got the same. I didn't get the promo code for the last friendly despite purchasing the membership in time either, all a bit amateurish! |

This has clearly served us well, but is also so so difficult in English markets where there is so much information readily available. Almost impossible to get a deal done without a bigger club sniffing around the same player. Slightly frustrating when you see other clubs at the same level tapping into various worldwide markets e.g. Japan, South America, Belgium etc. |

We do this every window and will continue to do so until we stop the obsession with English markets and put in place a more advanced recruitment model. |

This is really poor if so and could prove a real stumbling block if we genuinely want to close the gap on the Premier League. It's just not feasible to get the profile of player you need in UK markets. This is a real disappointment as it seems the only piece of the puzzle we are missing. I hope it changes but they way Ashton speaks about it concerns me. |

You can't expect to fix 14 years of mess without some pain. It's impossible by definition within our economic system. |

Was looking at this recently, doesn't make good viewing. I do think a change of approach away from home has the potential to change this somewhat, but I'm not sure Mckenna will change his principles now. It's a tough decision to make for him, keep going with what he and team believes in and hope we can improve enough in time to get enough points, or to change the approach slightly after so long of having a clear identity. |

To be fair, when we signed Davis, he'd had a hard time with injuries. The same goes for Broadhead. Look at them now... You've got to take these risks to get quality in the door. Without their injuries, I doubt they'd be here. |

He comes across incredibly well in the interview on TownTv |

The problem is, we literally cannot "attack this league" shopping in the same UK market as clubs selling players for 10's of millions or with parachute payments. I'm hoping we just haven't had time to build an international scouting network yet, otherwise, our approach seems a little naive to me. It would be like Brighton shopping in the same market as Chelsea or City. Of course I think we'll be competitive with the current squad but depending on the ambition, we may need to be a little smarter with recruitment at some point - see Brighton and Brentford. |

Not for me, would prefer Scarlett of the two in our system. |

Still hoping this is one we can do late in the window, albeit made difficult with Leicester sniffing around. Olise signing a new contract should see him available surely? [Post edited 21 Aug 2023 19:04]

Fishing in a different pool now with lots of big competition. Definitely struggling to land top targets, but lets see. I hope we at least have plans to expand our scouting network to Europe at some point. |

I think it's very lenient if the drone is under 250g, such as the mini versions. |
