| News Comment | Martin: We Were the Best Team, We Didn't Deserve to Lose at 12:35:15
Southampton by far the best side to come to PR this season and we hung in there for the first 60 minutes for sure. This team of ours never know when they are beaten and sadly one of the three best sides by some distance aren’t going to go up automatically. I fear for us still only because of the size of our squad and our inability to sustain too many injuries. Hirst and Burns are massive misses and I wait with nervous breathe about the updates regarding Moore. What a season though, we have our beloved club back and I’m so proud of them |
| News Comment | Chaplin: You Need to Win This Way Sometimes at 19:36:04
Dutch television tonight (Saturday) reporting that Ajax have made KM their number 1 coach target for next season, not sure that job would interest him, especially as they are unlikely to get CL football this season, but the journalist are adamant KM is their man! |
| News Comment | Sears Joins Braintree at 12:46:55
Well I appreciated Freddie’s contribution clearly more than some on here. The season he joined us he was probably in everyone’s starting line up and then he was asked for most of the rest of his career with us to play massively out of position in a winger role. Good luck Freddie, I hope the game is kind to you in the final years and I wish you well for the future. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Maidstone United - Match Report at 09:30:28
Freak results happen in football, but for so many of you plastic fans to turn on your team in the manner you have is incredibly shocking. Hang your heads in shame, it’s got nothing about passion and all the rest of the bulls*it I’ve read against this post. Results like this have happened throughout time, if you don’t take your changes and the football gods allow them to take their only two good luck to them. I stand by my original comments, many of you can’t even regularly go if this is your reaction to a cup loss. Get a grip ffs and get behind the lads, look at our own journey over the last 18 months. |
| News Comment | Charlton Confirm Ladapo Loan Move at 08:42:12
Sorry, but anyone who thinks Jackson will cause Leicester issues on Monday needs examined! At 49, in my work shoes, I’d cause Leicester more issues on Monday night. I can’t see that we would have let Freddie go to Charlton if we didn’t have arrivals today, my bet is Moore return on loan probably and let’s hope that he can hit the ground running. |
| News Comment | Brighton Winger Sarmiento Set For Town Loan at 11:20:39
Not a bad loan signing, but NB is no number 9, his overall finishing against that lot up the road should show you that! For me, I’d go for Stansfield and Bishop from Portsmouth who I think could be a very good replacement for Hirst. |
| News Comment | Town Looking For New West Stand Sponsors as Magnus Group Enters Administration at 19:54:03
Can’t agree more with carsey point above, this is not the forum for politics (they are all as bad as each other), this is though absolutely the right place to provide support to a local business who backed our beloved club in its darkest times. I hope there’s others out there who will provide them with the same support and kindness in their own darkest hours. Here’s hoping Magnus can have a similar rise back up as Town have experienced. |
| News Comment | Fans Urged to Stay Off the Pitch at 20:08:07
Can't believe some of the comments I'm reading here, lefty moaning about having their right to withdraw and strike 🤦â€â™‚ï¸ that's what's wrong with this country and thankfully the Armed services don't have that policy or right and are there to bail our sorry arses out of it. Bluearmy81, stick to your sorry soap box and keep lefty politics out of our beloved club please. As for the pitch invasion, sadly likely to happen as it's been the case for years, but also appreciate that the club are doing their best to prevent or reduce it. |
| News Comment | Charlton Athletic 4-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 14:19:09
Sospier my comments are not unjust at all if you read the actual list of comments, Martin587 had a go for me using the term muppets at fellow Town fans and I was merely pointing out my reason for using the term. They are muppets for slating a team that has so far seen 10 wins and four draws from 16 games. Town will have bad patches, if this is how the so called fans turn against their supposed side then we don't need them. Let them go back to supporting Man Utd or who ever they went and supported during the last few barren years |
| News Comment | Charlton Athletic 4-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 11:27:23
Martin587 you'd think them after supporting Ipswich for that long you would get why I'm berating the muppets and I stand 100% behind that comment. FFS we are second and if this is how you turn on your team as I said before what's it going to be like when we go through a bad patch. In my consistent 48 years of supporting my beloved team, home and away there's not a single time you will see be posting such drivel and as you as so quick to point out, we are all entitled to our opinions, hence my term Muppets! |
