I like the new badge - lettering style feels like a nod to some of the big sides in Argentina. River Plate, San Lorenzo and a few others have their initials in a similar style at the centre of their badges. |

Podcasts are great, especially if you listen on Youtube or a player that allows you to change playback speed (you want to be able to slow down as well as speed up, depending on who you're listening to and how you progress).
Also better to listen to something that interests you, rather than something about language learning itself - football podcasts were a big help for me when I was starting out with learning Spanish. |

Nense played well, just couldn't quite find the goal the performance deserved. Hopefully gives the team a bit of confidence they can take into the next time they come up against a European side in the later stages of the tournament. |

Ball was not in play at the point the foul occurred, how long until the ref blew his whistle is irrelevant. Always going to be some delay between seeing a foul and raising the whistle to your lips.
Not sure why we’d complain about the first one - if the foul was half a second later it would have been a penalty as it was Greaves that was doing the fouling on that one. |

Ref had already blown to retake the corner, thinking (correctly) ball hadn’t come into play when the foul was committed. VAR were checking whether ball was in play already when Greaves pulled him down - verified it wasn’t, so original decision stood and corner was retaken. |

Getting outclassed is almost easier to accept. Conceding 3 from set pieces would p*ss us all off in league one, let alone doing it at Old Trafford - let ourselves down badly today. |

We just don’t move the ball fast enough to hurt teams at this level, even when they’re down to 10.
Of course, it would help if we could learn how to defend a set piece. |

Thought we played well up to the red card, then showed great heart and spirit to get something out of a dire situation. Play like that all year and we’ve got a good chance! |

Couple of times Omari slowed us down in transition, allowing Villa to get back into position, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that I thought he did okay - great energy on the press, as always. |

Actually thought Kalvin did really well with pressing high and winning the ball in the middle. Not offered enough in possession but nobody else has either.
