Former Celtic Boss Lennon Linked
at 10:35:51

Bert...I agree BUT what we've seen of Lennon on screen as both a player and a manager is a Roy Keane type so it's a very big no from me.

Richardson: Surprised, Absolutely Devastated and Gutted
at 09:33:42

Just cannot believe the support for Frank Yallop despite liking him as a player. What relevant experience has he of lower league English football? What does he know about players to strengthen our team?Cook knew all that and was able to pick and choose but he couldn't make them tick.
The bookies' list fills me with apprehension.

Lambert: A Win's a Win But it Won't Change the Negativity
at 19:32:42

Oh dear. What a persecution complex! Point scoring at who? Come on PL. you must know you're losing a good number of fans, the very people you wanted to regain when you joined us. Time to enjoy a win, especially in the current circumstances. Stop the silliness.

Lambert: I Know There are People Who Want Us to Fail
at 19:40:55

Just don't understand the negative parts of his comments.Surely he's not bothered about the usual whingers on here every match. They are such a minority. Real fans want him bouncing as commented in the post match presser. There's a big match midweek and he needs to show public positivity for players and fans alike. C'mon PL, you're doing okay for the club, don't be a miserable Mourinho.

Town Sack Hurst as Lambert Set to Take Over
at 17:02:38

So disappointed PH didn't work out but it clearly had to be done. If it is Lambert so be it; we just need to stay up. However it looks a tough job now for anyone without a decent goal scorer on the books. Looks like PH was a very expensive mistake which is going to take some years to sort out.

McCarthy: Wonderful Finish By Celina But Result Tough on Burton
at 20:22:32

Oh dear, three bad interviews in one week. First it was Didsy; basically I'm off in Juneand I just need to play ok to get a contract elsewhere. Then MM on Thursday; I'll decide what I do with my contract in May and nobody is going to tell me what to do. AAnd then today, slagging off fans' attitudes and Celina's desire to play is just too much. I know heS had rotten luck with injuries but as he said today he ‘s so unnecessarily a belligerent f.. I've supported him from Day 1 but his attitude has finally got the better of me. He really cannot take opposing views and responds in really nasty language. Today' the day I finally join the MM out calls.....and it really upsets me to say so.

Leeds United 3-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 18:24:44

My comments based on watching live stream from Leeds site. Town unlucky not to get a point; played pretty well after Leeds first goal. Good performances from McG, Adeyemi and Skuse. Defence open much of the time. Bart disappointing with all 3 goals especially third. Town played with a determined and positive attitude after slow start.
I think there's been a real change in approach since last season but like many other posters think Celina should start in home games.
My glass is half full not half empty.

McCarthy: No Chance of Lawrence Being at Town Next Season
at 21:16:43

There are some dreadful and ignorant comments from some posters on this site. There is no way Tom L would even want to stay at Ipswich when His own club will want him just like Bournemouth did Fraser.Even if Leicester decide to cash in it's going to be £8 million or so to sign him. if we had that sort of money for players we'd expect to get three or four and in all honesty what does £2 or 3 million buy these days? Yes, Huwswould be a good buy but because he's done well for us Warnock will want £3-4 million and maybe he'll want him back at Cardiff anyway. It's time some of these so called fans grew up and supportedTown realistically.

No More Signings Before Window Closes
at 23:05:00

What a let down! Agree with other posters about selling Murphy without a replacement and even higher prices in the January window. Would like to be positive as some others on here are but it's very hard when we've been led to expect a striker signing. It was obvious when McGoldrick was injured that we'd need someone else up front and we still had Murphy then. I wonder what McCarthy will be thinking about our owner when he's driving home tonight.
