Ditto....oh how I miss the old North Stand, the sh!te beer, grotty toilets....lovely times. That night it was so packed in the North, some fans were getting stretchered out in the crush every time we scored...then going over to wave to the Bolton fans, definitely the best night at Portman Road in my 50 years, IMHO. |

No we don't 'need to know' and have no entitlement to know either. People need to get a grip on reality, and that won't come by reading unsubstantiated waffle from this forum or the press! |

Well said both of you, there's been some right foolish stuff said over the past few days. If the rumours and conjecture prove false, there's going to be a lot of humble pie on this forum! |

Fortunately in the days of Robson, you had the daily papers as a source of information and local TV and radio, unless you knew someone at the club. Their was no rampant hysteria, unlike there is in todays social media driven world. In some situations the old way of information still has an appeal, especially when you read some of the absolute bedwetting posts on this forum! |
 | Forum Thread | This is what success brings you..... at 09:04 21 May 2024
It's a hard concept to grasp for the latest generation of supporters, starved of success for almost a generation. But this is what you get for being successful, on the whole its great, but sometimes it ain't. Speculation is a part of football we could well do without, but there's plenty of ex-players ready to release some hot air on KM and ITFC as we are currently successful beyond expectation. KM is his own man and will do what he thinks is best for him and his family, no amount of whining on here is going to alter that. Brace yourselves, for the good and the bad days, whatever happens, you're not going to change anything, no matter how good venting your spleen on TWTD makes you feel. Its all part and parcel of being successful. |

Yeah we'll be fine, Southampton will get something at Leeds without us trouncing Huddersfield a'la Exeter. Have to start the Thai supporters branch if there isn't one already! And to think somebody complained to admin some years back about my username |

Our squad has done amazingly well over the past 2 seasons and been a joy to watch, unfortunately sentiment has no place, if you want to survive in the EPL. As long as we get to the promised land at the end of today's 90 minutes, I, like all supporters will be overjoyed and appreciative of those players. COYB |

We will be fine BB...3 or 4 goals up by HT, a repeat of Exeter last season. People seem to be overlooking the simple fact that Leeds have to beat Southampton to be in with a sniff, and that won't be easy. Rather be playing Huddersfield than Southampton, that's for sure! Will be moving the family to Ban Chang in 3 months myself, apart from the mighty ITFC the UK has no appeal any longer. |

Wish I was there, watching our promotion back where we belong! Thank god for IPTV, beers and a quiet hotel room to enjoy the buildup and the game. COYB |
 | Forum Reply | Ipswich cant defend. Hopeless. at 14:41 9 Mar 2024
Agree, it’s been blatantly obvious from last season, fortunately our exploits in front of goal have masked over just how poor our CBs’s are and how many goals we’ve conceded this season! It was only a matter of time before this caught up with us. |
 | Forum Reply | Dynamic pricing of drinks in pubs is coming soon at 13:41 12 Sep 2023
It's a new concept for the UK, but dynamic pricing has been used in Singapore for well over 20 years in popular places like Clarke Quay...cheap beer early afternoon steadily rising over the day until the cost gets crippling during late evening, early morning. I believe it was introduced to deter drunkenness....didn't really work, just needed a mortgage for a night out!! |

I came back to the UK in 2013 after more than a decade of living in Dubai, Bahrain, Panama, Penang, Dalian and Bangkok. I’m now off to live in Taipei in September as I’m sick of the plethora of imbeciles ruining this country! Personally I’ve never had a bad experience moving from country to country and the quality of life is far superior to living here and little or no imbeciles to deal with spoiling it for the majority of good people! |
 | Forum Reply | Mask debate at 12:09 6 Jul 2021
Protect who...anyone vulnerable be it with illness or of a certain age will be fully vaccinated therein no masks are necessary (except in a hospital environment). The only people who are at risk are those who have opted not to have the vaccine, which is their prerogative. Being a fully vaccinated member of society myself, I have no problem with people who decided not to have the jab. Just don't expect people to make allowances for your decision, we are all responsible for our decisions. |

Quite correct, it's no good spouting % increases without numbers as it means diddly-squat. As for the masks I can't wait to ditch the bloody things and leave it to user preference. |
 | Forum Reply | When was the last time you were truly happy as a Town fan? at 18:43 2 Dec 2020
Post Robson and Burley I used to really enjoy watching Joe Royle's side...his footballing philosophy was "were going to score one more than you"...Super Jim was probably the last entertaining side we had to watch before Marcus Evans booted out Magic for Keane and the rest as they say is history...sh!t history! I have to write lots of letters in a commercial capacity as my job, how about... Notice to Marcus Evans As a long standing supporter of Ipswich Town Football Club, I write to express my utter displeasure with our first team manager Paul Lambert and his ability to perform his duties in a professional manner. First team performances have deteriorated to a level which as a fan I am not prepared to tolerate any longer, furthermore until such a time as Mr Lambert is removed from his position as manager of Ipswich Town Football Club I will be withdrawing my support both monetary and emotionally. I do not take pleasure in issuing this notice but in the current climate this is the only way to make my voice heard. Yours sincerely Joe Bloggs |
