I know Stokes does it because he fancies chasing any target but you run the risk of players weary, drained if out on the field for 5 sessions and added scoreboard pressure.
We do have absentees in the bowling department but our attack really doesn't look good enough. Stokes bowling himself first up this morning wasn't terribly encouraging to see.
I just have a step count app on my phone rather than a watch. Only steps I do while carrying it will register but if I make sure I do 10k steps on a walk with the phone in the rucksack, I can pretty confident I've done about another 1k on top of that as a bonus.
I have had smart watches but I either lose them, break them or just simply forget/not bother to wear it.
If you make sure you're on your feet and walking around for an hour and a half/two hours, it should be a target you hit without thinking too much about it.
