Cheeky Unidays code request for Sennheiser…
at 21:38 15 Feb 2023

Would any students be so kind as to PM me a Unidays code for the Sennheiser website please? Need to replace my headphones and I no longer have access to an account!

Thanks in advance.

EV Company Car advice
at 20:35 20 Dec 2022

Depends on your age and what you're looking for in a car... The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a very retro looking, but cool car. It's also a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. I was in a similar situation and was about to go for one then it disappeared from my company car list! Very annoying.

My second choice from your list below would be the Enyaq. A really nice sized and looking car. Reviews very well as well.

One thing to note, is take into consideration range / charging speed etc.

For Stowmarket locals... I can thoroughly recommend the 'new' Regal Cinema

Thanks that looks like good value. Nice that you don't have to commit for 12 months as well. There's a few more films i'd like to see coming out soon.

What benefits do you get as a member? I paid £8.75 to see F9 which is good value, didn't see anything about a membership when I was there and nobody mentioned it to me.

I visited it for the first time last night since it has reopened after the major refurbishment and was very impressed!

It's a very big lift to the town, and with three screens and a nice cafe area (and sensibly priced snacks!) you should give it a go if you're local to the town.

Is Goalkeeper the hardest position to play on the pitch?
at 13:51 18 Jun 2021

Not sure about hardest, but it's the most stand out position that if you make a mistake, there's a much higher chance you'll end up conceding a goal.

Think about how many times a player misses a penalty or a one on one with a keeper. Then look at how many times that's discussed vs a goalkeeper making an error which ends up with them conceding a goal.

National football rivalries.
at 11:13 18 Jun 2021

I always like to see the home nations do well as long as England do better!

It's nice to beat Scotland, but I want to beat them only because their fans will bang on about it for ages.

I am assuming the key part is played? Ian Walker was on loan with us but I don't think he ever played a game for us.

What's the most competitive international football tournament?
at 15:19 14 Jun 2021

Euros?
World Cup?
Copa America?
Africa Nations Cup?

The World Cup by its name should be, but I often look at the Euros and see a much higher % of quality teams.

Thoughts?

I'm with you on this, a new company might reinvigorate him. I've seen it before, people can thrive in a different environment, sometimes it's down to bad management... If he's that bad, why is he still employed by the current company?

Let him move on, have a fresh start and your interest is ended.
