I'm totally behind PJ!!! What is the point in even having linesman (apart for offsides) they are absolutley useless! It's not as if they have much to do apart from run up and down the line and put there flag up. They are to gutless to make there own decisions and if you watch them at portman road tom they don't even put the flag straight up for a throw in, they look at the ref b4 making their own decision they are an absolute waste of space whether male of female! Having said that if your a woman in a mans game that's fair enough but u have to have thick skin and just get on with it. Is this the same women that keys and gray got sacked over??? |

I have backed PJ for quite some time now but im starting to loose confidence. St Ledger will NOT sign for town beleive me. He will not want to join a team in our position in the table thats for sure.
We are in big trouble weds night with Sonko and Smith at the back and im afraid we are going to get smashed at home to blackpool sat too. I really hate being so negative but if this is the case then I think PJ should def be sacked monday morning. Hopefully we wont sign anyone perm as it will give the new manager money to spend on his own players ??? |

Stick by PJ and get behind the team, they showed sat that they do care and PJ played a decent team, he left bullard out and JET who have both been awful this season so he can see what we see! The team or the manager ain't gona perform with everyone on their backs! Back the team or stay at home!!!!

Agree with smelliott - get behind the team sat against Watford and see what we can do. We all now we do have some decent players.... We all thought thought bowyer and bullard would be good players same as jewell prob did but no one was moaning when we 1st signed them..... Not enought blame is put on these overpaid players it's all directed towards PJ.
The players need to pull their fingers out and start putting the effort in or f#ck off we want hungry players that will put their bodies on the line (with the exception of Collins and cresswell) the rest of you sort it out coz ur letting the fan down and ur manager!!!!! |

Can someone please tell me how clegg has got anything to do with the recent poor run of form?? Yes he may have wrongly got involved with the transfer deals last season but He took a back seat this time around to let PJ sort it And he can't be blamed for appointing PJ, ME is the man at the top and it would of been his final decision to appoint PJ. |

If PJ goes then we have yet again wasted a load of money as the new manager will want to get his own players in, then we are starting all over again. I know the buck stops with Pj but the players that he has bought in should be good enough at this level.

All you lot seem to do is post stupid comments saying "PJ out" but it is in fact also the players that need to pull their fingers out of their a*sholes and put the effort in. im talking about every single player in the team. I know everyone loves jimmy Bullard and so do I but what has he actually done this season, what has bowyer done, ingamsson is useless. All these players are being paid good money with no return !!!! Im sick of it they should be busting a gut for the whole 90 mins no excuses.
Manager
I do feel that PJ has def missed a trick, why o why has he not bought in an energetic defensive centre midfielder who can protect the back four because this is our main problem as we do not have a single midfielder that can tackle they all want to get forward. I personally would give Luke hyam a go at this position, he done well for us at the start of RK's 1st full season in charge. We only have one good centre back in Collins and Edwards is a liability in defence, he is good going forward but never picks his man up. JET is useless, PJ has wasted a lot of money on him and he cant keep using the excuss that he aint fit, he must be by now. He never wins a header and is lazy and unless the ball comes to his feet he does nothing.
Im not sure where we go from here especially if we loose to Watford but with 28 games left we need to give PJ a bit longer and get behind the team. Nice win sat will be a start. |

I think most of you need to stop moaning and realise that we are not a force in the championship, just because Ipswich is a big club it doesn't mean we should be expecting to beat any team especially the newly promoted teams. Yes we should not be getting beat the way we have been, it's not acceptable but we are at very best an average mid table team. Jewell needs a few seasons to get the team that he wants and can pus
h for promotion, it will take time.
There are 2 many players that don't give a sh#t at this club and are not puting their bodies on the line and not putting the effort in! Ipswich have not had a solid defence since the venus and mowbray days and no manager since george burley has corrected this problem!!! I know we have injuries but our 2 main defenders delaney and smith are not good enough, smith is not a championship player and delaney is soooo poor on the ball. These last 2 games have come down to bad defending. I wouod rather play kennedy in central defence with his experience instead of smith or ainsley at the mo, and kennedy has been a good player when he has played so far this season. I would play him left back all day long, with cresswell coming on as her looks to be a great little player in the next couple of seasons.
we need to forget about jimmy bullard, he is never going to come back and despite what the player says, it is all about money!!! I also agree with victorywilhappen, leadbitter is awful he cant takle, he dont score and he cant even pass these days, such an overated player.
please jewell bring us in 2 central defenders and a right back.... really not sure about prem defenders on loan, will they give there all for the town??? maybe we should be searching the lower leagues for players with something to prove at a higher level........ it must be better than what we have at the mo.
lets get behind the boys against leeds and hopefully we will have at least one new defender by then and things cant get any worse than letting in 7 goals, can they!!?? |
