Trump sinks to a new low

As commenting on things I've read is somewhat vilified, here is an article that puts things more articulately that I.

Oh no, did I get a word wrong?

And where did that copy/paste come from? I typed up what I knew about AOC. Mainly from videos I have seen in regards to the Green New Deal. Pretty sure that if I did copy/paste from somewhere the list would be substantially longer.

Creating net-zero greenhouse gases in ten years
Replacing or upgrading EVERY building in the USA within ten years
Phasing out air travel
Cancellation of all student debt (1.6 billion dollars)
Repatriations to black people over slavery..
Abolishing immigration controls

Pretty extreme.

Trump sinks to a new low
at 23:19 18 Jul 2019

Single digit IQ, sure.

For those that are not aware about the turmoil within the Democrat party, it is divided by moderates (the majority) and the extreme left (minority). This 'squad' of 4 are extremists who are often called out by the moderates, especially Nancy Pelosi. Last week AOC said this:

Ocasio-Cortez told The Washington Post Wednesday Pelosi has been explicitly "singling out of newly elected women of color" in her criticism of the outspoken progressives.

So, accusing her of racism. Trump jumped to Pelosi's defence (why?), and then attacked the squad of 4 (why?). This forces the Democrat party to unify around the 4 under attack, including Pelosi.

And people believe Trump did this 'because he's racist'. No, he did this because the Democrats are divided, and he is unifying them - around the people he chooses, he crazy extremists. These four people are now faces of the Democratic party, and they are not popular. It's not just the comments about 911/anti-semetism etc.. It is other things, like a refusal to condemn the terrorist attack against ICE last week..

4D Trump, always winning.

Views like yours are exactly why Trump will win 2020. The man is playing 4D chess and winning, he is a Genius no matter what you think of him. In a matter of days he's unified the Democrats around 4 left wing extremists, signed off on radical immigration policies, all the while the left are crying out about racism. It won't effect the Trump base, but the popularity of the extreme left in the media will cause a lot of headaches and heartache for the moderates in the Democratic Party.

Parliament has just voted to stop new PM proroguing Parliament to force no deal
at 22:41 18 Jul 2019

Doubtful that it was ever his intention.

The only way Boris can have any long term success is to call an election soon after becoming leader. He can then continue to pretend he will leave with no deal, scoop up the BP votes, gain a majority, then accept some Theresa May type deal.

He can't leave with no deal, and if he waits too long the BP and the public will cotton onto his dastardly plan and there will be a Tory/BP vote split.

Good old Tommy Robinson showing respect for the law again
at 23:13 6 Dec 2018

Maybe you should have looked a few days ago, it was splashed all over daily mail online.

I responded to some plonker's comment on LBC the other day, about how Tommy Robinson is the voice of the working class, I brought up how Tommy had splashed this poor kid's name all over facebook and made him out to be a little girl beating thug. Their response?

'It wasn't Tommy's fault, someone lied to him, it was an honest mistake & well all make mistakes'.

.. Not like that we don't, but it was like speaking with a plank of wood.

I hate everything about Reading FC
at 22:39 11 Nov 2018

Wasn't fond of the Purple Turtle but there was this tiny looking bar across from the train station called 'Bar Oz'. Full of R 'n' B types and a load of loose women.

Best two weeks of my working life was when John Madejski was buying some land from my base. I was based in Arborfield where their training base is now. They were throwing this massive party for him down at Westcourt officers mess, I'd guess July or August 2005.

Me and my mate were between courses then and had been volunteered to go down there and set the place up. We were annoyed off because it involved losing our weekend as the party was a Friday or Saturday night can't remember which.

So we get there and some sergeant told us what to do, left us confused because moving tables and chairs and setting up a party wouldn't take a week right? Right, so this sergeant is like 'well we have the plan but we can't do much until Friday, so come with me'. So we spent the entire *scorching hot* week pouring ourselves pints in the sergeant's mess and sitting in Westcourt gardens getting pissed.

Had the party that weekend, then this sergeant rings up on Monday, requested we go down there the following week for the big clean up. Took us about 4 hours on Monday, spent the rest of that week getting pissed.

Good time, thanks Reading football club.

Trump now promising 15,000 troops could be sent to the Mexico border
at 16:43 4 Nov 2018

Impeachment will start? Will it? How much do you genuinely know about US Politics? I'm guessing not much, because any sensible person knows that the Democrats do not want to impeach Trump, it's political suicide.

They only want to talk about impeaching Trump. Democrats talk because that is one of the few things they have left. They're a shell of what they once were.

Well I disagree with a lot of posters on here. I think if Mick had stayed on we'd have kept our best players, added to the team and been a decent top half team this year. All those injuries to our midfield last year lost us so many points, if even half of those had stayed fit this year we'd have been challenging for 6th place imo.

Regardless these threads are just pointless now.

Have i missed the Huddersfield grooming gang thread?
at 16:04 20 Oct 2018

If anyone wants to know why grooming/rape gangs existed over the last 20 years almost unchallenged, all they need to do was read this thread.

You completely lack understanding or/and are in complete and utter denial.

I was listening to radio 4 yesterday whilst driving over the very moors which little girls (some younger than my own 13 year old daughter) were abandoned miles from civilisation if they refused to have sexual interactions with these Asian men. I heard how a sheep farmer would often have young girls knocking on his door and he had to take them home or call the police. When they spoke to the police and told them they'd been violated the police blamed the children, telling them that they 'must have asked for it'. These are children!

Huddersfield MP Barry Sheerman spoke about how in 2007 he went to the BBC & other media outlets to report on these awful criimes, only to be told by the BBC that they were not interested and they completely ignored him. (The BBC are now taking credit for having this blanket ban lifted 11 years later - well done appeasers).

He spoke about how he made a speech about this in the house of commons in 2009, and was roundly ignored. He spoke about how he went to the Police about this, but the police told him it was 'too sensitive of a subject due to the race of the perpetrators'.

Like in Rotherham, 11/12/13 year old children were blamed by Police for being raped. And then we learned that this had come from the top. In 2008 a letter was sent to heads of organisations, including the police force, by the Labour Government acknowledging that these gangs existed however this letter emphasised that it was the child's choice.

A Labour government blaming child rape on children. Sickening.

And people in this thread? 'Well they clearly weren't ignored people were arrested for this and put on trial 15 years later' Well fantastic stuff, those victims will be 30 years old now, most of the rapists won't have been arrested anyway.

On a personal level, I found out about this in 2004. My ex was a victim. She was from an area just outside of Rotherham called Swinton. It had happened to her around 2000 or 2001. This had been going on a long time. She's never come forward as a victim, isnt part of the offical 1400 figure quoted, the number I suspect is far higher.

God I hate cats......!
at 23:34 9 Sep 2018

When people talk about companionship & compare dogs with cats it's a little stupid. Dogs are hard wired to be a companion, treat a dog badly, give it a boot, and it will still come back to you, its how they are. Nothing impressive about that, they dont like you for you they'd like you if you were anyone.

Grew up in a house with 3 cats and a dog. Loved them all, dog especially, lived outside in his shed and only wanted to come into the house for a few minutes a day.

Can't stand house dogs, or small dogs, fussing all the time, needy creatures. I have three cats now, two keep their distance, one waits for me at the door and meows until I give him 5 minutes of attention, thats as much of a pain cats get. Dogs however >>

A PH fencesitter asks..
at 13:58 26 Aug 2018

I was never a Mick out, our fan's rhetoric in regards to Mick never stood well with me. The idea he was defensive by nature and employed a boring style by choice, history just doesn't back that argument up.

We all have to get behind the manager now, but the idea that Mick and Hurst are chalk and cheese is pretty much nonsense, they're pretty similar in style but just made a different choice with their limited budgets.

What I mean by that is, when given the chance to buy and build, Mick's teams are attacking and free flowing. I don't remember much from the Sunderland team he got promoted, I do remember the Wolves team. He brought in super attacking players (Knighy and Jarvis I recall), and blitz the league with entertaining football.

He couldn't do that with us because we cant attract these players with our wage/budget, so he had to go another route, or at least he felt he had to go another route. Now PH disagrees, and maybe hes right and Mick's wrong. We'll find out soon enough.

I do wonder what the team could have achieved last year if we didn't have our issues with injuries, for me it was far stronger than the team we now have and it is a shame it's been chopped and changed so much instead of merely tweaked.

May finally admits Brexit is balls
at 21:35 20 Jul 2018

Ukip never belonged to him and it isn't his to fix now. He was their most successful leader and if he'd been elected as a MP he would have undoubtedly held enough power to remove the far right NEC fruitcakes and made Ukip a respectable party.

Unfortunately his influence was limited by his failure to get elected & ultimately had to step down as he lost the power struggle within the party..

Not sure what people expected him to do.

It is always a bit weird when people accuse Farage of 'running away'.

Same people who accuse him for being a failure for not being elected as a MP.

He's neither of these and he can't be both anyway.

Why are we having this conversation, 3 million jobs were already lost since the referendum weren't they? Remainers said it would happen, 500k within 6 months of the vote - and as theyre always right then it must be true. Ah no, wait a minute, that then became 'once we trigger article 50'.. still, its been longer than six months, so it must have happened right? Even though employment is at record levels. Now I hear the goalposts have shifted again, its now 'once we leave', its getting very boring but when it doesnt happen, again, the goalposts will be moved again.

Company I work for are doing great, in part largely down to the vote to leave, cheers guys.
